Is it time for Donald to bow out? (MOVED)

I think Trump should:

  • Step down from the candidacy

  • Continue to run

  • Not sure at this point

Trump has already said that he will not quit. If he's telling the truth, he's the Republican Nominee, like it or not. The same is true for Hillary Clinton being the Democratic Nominee. Either Trump or Clinton will be the next POTUS unless there is an indictment of Clinton. The bottom line is simple: we are stuck with one of them for POTUS. Voting for a third party candidate or doing a write-in will accomplish absolutely nothing. All third party votes and write-ins combined probably won't break single digits of the vote. I condemn what Trump said 10 years ago, but I will still be voting for him. I will vote and do what I can to keep Clinton out of the Whitehouse.

I'm wondering on a differnt scale entirely. What would it do on the world stage if Trump was able to actually able expose and change " the ruling elite"? Let's say he was able to expose Bush, Bill Clinton, Hillary, and whoever, get them convicted, and actually expose the scandals? Not just that but, make them right on the world's stage? Along that line of thinking, he makes good on his promises, and he makes America great again. He makes the world go : "wow, America is finally back." He restores relations with foreign countries, and great commerce deals that benefit everyone equally. He upholds the constitution, and make us proud to be American again. He then would quite honestly be the most loved president ever. I believe he has the audacity to believe he will accomplish his goal, and the pride to not give up. He is driven, and wants to be that important life changing President. He wants that notch on his belt. He does not like to fail, nor does he like to be the bad guy, so he will fight like crazy to save his pride. Even on this superficial self serving veiw. I do not see Trump shrugging his shoulders, and giving up. He has made bold claims, and his pride will not allow him to slink off into the shadows looking like a fool. He will fight for everything he stated. He wants the accomplishment. He wants to look into the camera and brag: "I told you I'd get it done, and it's yuge!"

Chandra, Have you read my posts? The meddling and regime change by the Americans in the Ukraine and in Syria and now the sabre rattling by the demonic neo-cons is precisely why Trump is the ONLY candidate to vote for in this election. Whether Nuland or Samantha Power or that Isis-loving McCain or that wicked witch of the the west Hillary who created a world War through her idiotic Arab spring, the warmongers need to be put out to dry. Do you know how close we are to a major escalation to preserve this evil neo-con hegemony? You do know the Americans were supposed to be in Syria to defeat the rebels who are terrorists but instead the terrorists are Cia and pentagon funded proxies.
Oh, the Arab Spring was Hillary's? Do go on?

this is no different than asking if the apostles should have had a second chance after having deserted Jesus.

we know that Jesus, after His resurection called them again to be apostles for Him,
so why shouldn't Trump get a second chance to become President?

Replace "Trump" with "Hillary" in this argument and watch people froth.

Because why? Because Putin like him? Given Putin's history of manipulation and bullying tactic, that in itself should be a red flag.

Why would it be a bad thing to be friendly with russia? With an estimated 3,246,055 active and reserve troops, another 47,000,000 in population fit for immediate pressed service,(as they did in WW II) and an estimated 20,000 nukes, it might be a good thing to get friendly.

It is... it's called diplomacy. Neither Hillary or Obama have any respect from Russia. That's not good. Relating to Russia as a non combative country, is not as good as an ally, but it is better than an enemy. And it is a start.

As a non USA resident I am wondering if Trump's election would result in a more conservative SCOTUS. That would have to be a good thing.

I am not sure whether the latest disclosure reflects Trump's attitude towards women or his attitude towards sex. I think it is probably the latter. A lot of guys verbally fantasize about sex.

A far a the supreme court goes, he has stated he only wants to appoint justices that will uphold the constitution. He plans on going across party lines but wants to only appoint justices with conservative constitutional perspectives. Not necessarily christian values, just die hard constitutionalist. Trump has stated that the constitution is the law of the land and any laws not in line with it should be reviewed or repealed.

For the first time in my voting life I have to seriously consider leaving my X out of the presidential vote. Anyone else have an opinion? And as I said please keep it civil.

There will be a lot more offices and initiatives on every ballot besides president.

And either of these two presidential candidates could have been easily beaten by any of the others who ran but were not selected.

He should step down (But it is not within his character to do so).

First, I know how to spot a bully. I used to be picked on by bullies when I used to be fat in my early childhood. If anyone has an ounce of knowing how to read people, Trump is a clueless and mean spirited, bully, and is only looking out for himself. He is interested in power and he has no grasp so as to be a good commander in chief. He made himself look like an idiot in the presidential debate. In fact, I thought I was watching a comedy skit. He was so bad the whole way thru and thru. He had no idea what he was talking about. Law and Order? Really? That's his solution? He says he is smart because he doesn't pay taxes like the rest of us? What? He was mocking Hillary for not having a plan and yet it didn't sound like he really had one that he can intelligently talk about. When Hillary confronted him about the workers he didn't pay, his response was, "Maybe he didn't do a good job." Really? Also, he is disruptive and rude and he has a temper and disrespect towards other human beings. Surely this is no man that should be near any nuclear codes.

Second, I don't think he has changed in regards to his view on women or other people. People do not really change unless they have an experience with Jesus Christ. This man has never seen Him nor known Him. Maybe it is possible one day he will repent and I will pray for that. But his sickening view of women (even if it is of the past) lets us know how he would view people in general today. What about us middle class? Hillary seemed to at least have a plan for the middle class. He just wants to look out for himself or those who are successful so he can be more successful. In fact, I remember a long time ago (back in the early 2000's) when I seen a book of his in the glass window in an airport while on travel. I thought to myself, this is a man who looks mean spirited and angry and yet he is successful. I thought to myself, I hope a man like that never runs for president and wins. For it would be the end for us (if he did). That was my vibe off him many years ago before there was even a hint that he would run for president. Oh, and yes. I have seen things happening before they happened. Usually it is in the form of a dream (And it is up to God when He decides to show me something). I pray he will not be president. That is my best defense against such a man. Those who would even consider him for president (I will pray for them, as well).

As for those who think voting for Hillary will lead to a conflict with Russia (Because of Russia's threat): Do you really want a bully or the enemy to scare you? Do you want fear of men to lead your decisions? Jesus said "do not fear him who can destroy the body, but fear him who can destroy both body and soul in Gehenna." (Matthew 10:28). Also, a lot can happen between now and then. Nothing is written in stone and you do not always have all the facts that you think you have, too. We can only make educated guesses about tomorrow. But I do know is that I can judge in the here and now the type of person I can look up to and stand behind. Right now that is not Trump. I wouldn't even let him watch my brother's children for a few hours let alone let him run this country. The fact that people even voted for him makes me sad about the state of America today. The fact that people are still backing him even after all of what has been revealed about him is even more disgraceful.

We'd better hope that the Dems don't take over the House and Senate.

That's why other GOP candidates on the ballot are distancing themselves from Trump.

It's a pity Christian leaders don't see the same problem.

I keep wondering if we're supposed to take seriously the "outrage" shown by the folks over this episode from eleven years ago. The people stepping forward to say they can't abide Trump NOW are the same ones who couldn't abide him and said exactly that--throughout the past year.

It looks very much like a great opportunity for them to appear justified, to have something tangible to hang their opposition on, and they're going to make the most of the opportunity.

Yeah, I really don't think that covers all the points that I made towards Trump and how he is not fit to be a president.

So, after the latest revelation is it time for Donald to bow out? Why or why not? Please let's be adults about this; no polemics which is the reason I posted this here instead of News and Curent Events. Just state your reason for or against based on what you feel fairly certain to be true.
Obviously, any voter needs to take account of everything that relates to the candidacies of both Trump and Clinton. To make a decision FOR Clinton (or to decide not to vote for any candidate for president) on the basis of this supposed scandal (which has been replicated by most of the rest of the people in public life but they just didn't have the press making a big thing out of it) seems to me like an "unforced error" as they say in sport. After we have Hillary in office and the country goes to pieces, there are going to be millions of people who will be kicking themselves and saying how shortsighted they were.
