I haven't defended any party in my posts; I have defended people who belong to parties but that is not the same thing. Yes, you should challenge claims I make, but you should not make claims about me, personally. You can ask me what I believe but you should not dispute that I believe what I tell you I believe (although it is fair to dispute facts concerning said beliefs). I hope I have expressed this clearly enough.

That is patently false. They were vetted - no Tonton Macoute permitted. No one was "dumped" but many were recruited to work there because there were not enough locals willing or able to do the jobs necessary.

It's more the drain on their social services, homelessness, filth, violence and violations of law by these migrants - mainly traffic related - that they are concerned about.

Not interested in alleged “facts” from persons with an ax to grind or a he said she said book. Not interested in Trump’s distant past only interested in the current Trump and his plan to better this nation. I will try to be more sensitive and more general. MANY liberals not All, do not understand why they lost this past election because SOME keep doing the same things that played a major part in losing the election. That would count as evidence, but unless the complainants tell of their own direct experience it is just gossip and unreliable hearsay.

You claimed that the Haitians were eating stolen pets. Assimilation doesn't happen overnight and there will always be some who resent and despise foreigners, even tax paying foreigners. The new immigrants have taken unfilled jobs, began new businesses and they pay taxes that support the services.

Claims without evidence are mere bald assertions. How would you propose I ask them when I am no where near there and don't know any of them? I think that exhortation is very unserious, but I'm willing to hear you out.

He claims someone not him saw immigrants getting off a bus that were assumed to be Haitians getting "dropped off" at a gas station by someone who seemed nefarious to them, then the local Welfare office being overcrowded with immigrants the following morning as told to him by someone else. He did say the city ducks were being eaten but nothing about cats and dogs.

The next person thinks immigrants blocking the aisle at Walmart and crowding the grocery stores. Nothing about eating cats and dogs. The next woman says racism has nothing to do with her and her concerns, and she feels left out of the discussions concerning immigrants. Nothing about eating cats and dogs. The next guy says he works with a lot of immigrants from all over and he thinks the Haitians need more help training for jobs as they are severely under-educated. Nothing about eating cats and dogs.

The next woman thinks the too many immigrants are not adapting culturally and leave trash in the parks and use too many resources that should go to citizens. The next woman feels threatened by foreigners who don't even speak English, who squatted on her land, threw mattresses (strong foreigners!) and yelled at her not in English. Nothing about eating cats and dogs. The next guy is concerned about too many immigrants who cause problems by traffic violations but none that he saw or was involved in. Businesses now have to deal with people who don't speak English and use up too many resources and are too different culturally. But nothing about eating cats and dogs.

In this clip compiled by the Daily Caller, founded by Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson and Neil Patel, the first speaker shows a blurred out video of someone she claims is a Haitian supposedly slaughtering a dog with a machete. Where this took place, who the dog belonged to and who the actual person shown is unfortunately asserted without explanation. She goes on to complain about the influx of Haitians, apparently not realizing that they are also paying taxes. She deeply resents that FEMA money has been allocated and spent on immigrants (gratuitously as the city commission has no say in that).

Several disrupters were removed. Next woman complained about the Haitian Pride celebration, concerned that her tax dollars might have paid for it. She also deeply resents being called racist and demands names. Nothing about stealing and eating pets. The last woman spoke about her concerns of sufficient housing and jobs. Nothing about eating cats and dogs.

In this clip compiled by the Daily Caller, the first speaker does complain about "domestic animal abuse", presumably by Haitians, but doesn't say a thing specifically about stealing and eating pets. Everyone else is complaining about traffic violations and and preferential treatment of newcomers and about being called racist. This one does not support your case.

Facts don't change according to who cites them. Ignoring difficult facts rarely leads to truth, in my experience, but it is a natural impulse that I at least try to overcome.
