So WHO is he speaking about? Who was passing judgement? The Jews who also keep them or the pagans who didn't?
Christians
You fail to realise that till the cross the OT Law stood. After this it had no bearing on salvation. See Galatians and Romans
Other Christians were passing judgement on Christians?
it never did, that is what YOU fail to realize...
Read your Bible more
Yes why should this surprise you? Jewish believes were always judging Gentile believes

Not.Is it possible or not to keep the 10 commandments?
Jesus' commandments are not the 10 Commandments. Jesus fulfilled the Law, which the 10 Commandments are part of. For Christians we seek to obey Jesus' Commandments. If it's not possible to keep the commandments, why do Jesus and also Paul say we are to keep the commandments?

John 13: 34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 15:
12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
17 "This I command you, that you love one another.
John 15:10
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
Oh.Here in England we need lawyers not the church
The above cannot be true.. as to the fanciful theology, I mean.If the ten commandments are read at face value and nothing added to them by fanciful theology then keeping them may be possible or at least may have been possible in the times that immediately followed their first proclamation.
You're right. Bad wording.Sorry, maybe just semantics, but God does not "try" anything. "Try" implies a potential for failure. What God says, He does. God is successful in everything single thing He decrees.
The reason man does not listen is because he (man) is not the elect of God. God's calling on the elect is effectual. Man does not have any power to overrule God.
So you are saying the 10 are no longer binding? Was it the violation of these principles that caused the death of Yeshua? Could they have been set aside or changed to accommodate the carnal mind, He need not have died?
Oh.
I thought you were Christian and also wanted to follow God's law.
Sorry.
Could you please speak more about the laws that were contrary to us?There is nothing in the 10 Commandments regarding any of it. “Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” Paul mentions that these laws were “against us” and “contrary” to us. Would it be contrary to Christians to refrain from idolatry, using God’s name in vain, dishonoring parents, murder, etc, the sins rebuked by the Ten Commandments? Both Jewish and gentile Christians would be keeping these.
Would you say that Jesus' commandments encompass the 10?Not.
If one could keep the 10 Commandments they wouldn't need Jesus.
