CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I disagree. For example we now realize both slavery and genocide are wrong. Will bad people do bad things? Of course, but that doesn't change the fact that mankind has become far more moral over the last 2000 years.

No has yet been judged. But by the time a person lives their life, dies, comes up in the resurrection, is given God's spirit, meets Jesus in person, sees the millennial kingdom, they likely will believe by the time of their judgment. ".....the Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9
This will only occur during the resurrection/millennial kingdom/White Throne judgment period.

If you read my previous post, the one you replied to, you will see that I said that bad people do bad things. The thing is, slavery and genocide are both illegal today in the USA, and the rest of the world as well, with a possible exception or two.
Those are two examples of why I say mankind is progressed morally in the last 2000 years. I can provide more if you would like.

As I have said and will repeat: Bad people do bad things. Murder in the 20th century is a lot easier in the 20th century. There are a lot more people alive in the 20th century.
Slavery is illegal, there are international laws against torture and genocide, women have equal rights
If you are basing your opinion on facts, mankind has progressed morally in the last 2000 years..

You can take any type of crime and it can have infinite impact based on domino effects.
Anything that have direct psychological barrings is an easier example (murder, rape, etc.) but it could be as small as felony, speeding that cause another event to happen. Point is, life is not quite input-output.
