have your infant's ears pierced? I had my daughter's ears pierced at 3 months of age. She cried for about 45 seconds, then settled down with her soother. She of course has no memory of this.

What do you say?

i say its stupid, i get the impression that some parents don't realize that this is a child not a doll to dress up.
sure you pay for everything, but the child is a person and shouldn't have to have undue pain simply because the mother thinks its "cute"

i don't mean to offend you, since you did get your daughter's ears pierced

it annoys me, i guess. really the same reason other people gave, children don't get the choice.
