Is it immoral to eat human flesh?

Hmm, that is an interesting question.

Have you ever seen the movie, "Alive?" I often wondered, if I was in that situation, would I eat another (dead) human to stay alive? I'd rather be dead, yet when placed in such a situation, you can't help but think you might actually do it. Disturbing, I know... but we are such curious creatures, us humans.

Jesus also said that whomever does not consume His flesh and drink His blood will not have eternal life. Was He promoting cannibalism?

Jesus wasn't advocating cannibalism. When he said whoever doesn't eat my flesh and drink my blood, he wasn't referring to 'if you don't eat flesh and drink blood [of humans in general]) that you're committing sin.

I'm not saying he was insinuating that either, but he certainly wasn't encouraging cannabalism either!

He was specifically referring to remembering Him when He died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sin of humanity. It's symbolism, it's not meant to be taken literally.

Sure he said when you drink my blood and eat my flesh due this in remembrance of me, he was referring to what he did. However he didn't literally mean his flesh and literally mean his blood. The bread was his flesh, the wine his blood.

Loads of people seem to be putting way too much stock into legalistic bunk too. I don't think what day the sabbath was/is observed on /kept was/is what was/is important; rather doing so because God rested from his work. He set aside an entire day for resting, we should do likewise.

There is nowhere in the Bible that says if you don't take sabbath on a certain day, you're committing sin. We should't be expected to follow the rules and regulations of Judaic law, because Christians aren't Jews.

It just irritates me when ppl put so much emphasis on following the rules. They think they're following God and have a relationship with him for doing so by doing that. Sure you're supposed to keep his commandments, etc. but not when you don't do so you get judged. That is basically being in imprisoned by self-righteousness, legalism and/or judgement via other Christians and/or religious ppl. This is what Christ set us free from....is judgement and sin.

Also religion isn't a relationship with God, it's just religion.
