Hi! My temple name was Naomi. I resigned from the mormon church a year ago. The reason was simply that I could no longer accept or follow a polytheistic religion and God showed me clearly I was following a false Christ. I am not sure if that was just a poor attempt at humor or if you truly believe such nonsense. Either way, leaving the mormon faith and throwing yourself at the feet of Jesus and His mercy is the most liberating thing you can do. The point is that the whole thing is silly. The whole new name that every single person in the world on that day gets along with you. The funny marks in the underroos. The masonic handshakes. The robes. The funky hat. All of it. It is nothing more then rabbits foots designed to take minds off the real issue and that is Jesus and Jesus alone.
