Basically you're not allowed to do anything as a Christian. Just supposed to sit around and memorize the bible all day in your spare time. The rest of the time, it's eat, sleep, work, church, pray, witness and more bible study.

All in all, bible reading ought to take up at least 45 hours per week apparently.

You say that as a joke, yet that's exactly what the apostles of Christ did.

I am studying right now, and replying to ridiculous statements made on these forums every few minutes in between. I've been studying collectively today for about..4 hours? And I mean the Bible, not some college courses. The Word of God.

Why? Because I feel it's what God wants me to do. We are called to be disciples of Christ, to learn the ways the Bible, letting the Holy Spirit teach and guide us. That's the point of the Christian life. The Narrow Path. It'd be super easy to just stop, wouldn't it? To go play some COD? To call up a friend and chat about something pointless? That'd be real easy. But the life of a Christian and a disciple of Christ is not easy, nor is it the wide path.

That sounds like what nuns and monks do, to be honest.

If that's the case, then, tons and tons of Christians are hell bound.

Insinuating that you are saved by works and the law, and not simply through faith in Jesus Christ alone..?
Read Galatians chapter 3, please. 1-11.

Correct.

Since Jesus never used a computer or car, is that also a sin?

I doubt Jesus would use a car or computer if He walked the Earth in 2011. He would stroll around and people would travel to come see Him instead.

Are you trying to tell me that Jesus would sit around on an PlayStation or Xbox or PC and play computer videos all day long like you do?

You need to get to know Jesus Ash, you know him not.

I've been saved through Jesus Christ alone, He's my Lord and Savior. I go to church, I pray on a daily basis, I read the Bible, I don't do drugs or anything illegal, I try to follow in Christs' footsteps, I thank God daily for everything and I believe that He died on the cross for my sins.

I'm not really surprised by the comments of Ash, honestly. In another thread, he's arguing with me, stating that God does not use bad situations in your life purposely to let you grow in Him. He thinks that God cannot take away blessings, and that God does not let satan tempt you, just like he did with Job. Apparently, he thinks the story of Job is a fairy tale.

@Chaoticfirefly, that's great, but why did you say that people are on their way to hell because they didn't "do" something correct? I'm just confused on that statement if you believe those things.

Does one sin send a man to hell? Of coarse it does.

That is unless you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

You can't lose your salvation. Once saved, always saved. But that doesn't mean that being a Christian and openly sinning against God does not have consequences.

If a Christian remains in sin after salvation, you are either backslidden, or not saved to begin with. A Christian who remains in sin actively is forfeiting his treasures in Heaven, and his crowns that he'll receive to cast at the feet of Christ. Your earthly blessings will also be in jeopardy, as well as your spiritual life. God will seem silent if you keep ignoring Him.

As for your original question, if a Christian is actually saved and sins, will they go to hell? Of coarse not. Christ died for past, present, and future sins. But again, that doesn't mean there won't be consequences. By remaining in sin habitually, you are forfeiting blessings on earth, treasures in heaven, and hindering your walk with Christ.

Great post Chris. :amen:

What games are you playing, and do they contain violence, killing and sorcery etc? Yes or No?

Why does it matter? It's not your place to judge ;)

but just to humor you: I play games all over the spectrum, except war games and GTA.

Amen. But Ash believes you are lost if you continue to sin. IN another thread, Ash said that if anyone sins they are lost. Yet he is a sinner and continues to sin himself. Ash is very confused and preaches the same false bewitching gospel that Paul rebuked in Galatians 3.

I have already exposed Ash and his contradictions and false gospel in other threads. He teaches a different gospel to the one that teaches justification and salvation by faith and grace alone. He has added HUMAN EFFORT to salvation, read about it in Galatians 3, Paul called that type of gospel as "bewitching".

Don't sidestep my question, why are you frightened to answer.

Now answer these questions:

1. Do you play any games that contain violence, shooting, killing and/or sorcery?

2. What are the names of the games you play so I can look them up, can you give me some of the names?

3. Would Jesus play those games? Yes or No?
