Basically you're not allowed to do anything as a Christian. Just supposed to sit around and memorize the bible all day in your spare time. The rest of the time, it's eat, sleep, work, church, pray, witness and more bible study.
All in all, bible reading ought to take up at least 45 hours per week apparently.
You say that as a joke, yet that's exactly what the apostles of Christ did.
I am studying right now, and replying to ridiculous statements made on these forums every few minutes in between. I've been studying collectively today for about..4 hours? And I mean the Bible, not some college courses. The Word of God.
Why? Because I feel it's what God wants me to do. We are called to be disciples of Christ, to learn the ways the Bible, letting the Holy Spirit teach and guide us. That's the point of the Christian life. The Narrow Path. It'd be super easy to just stop, wouldn't it? To go play some COD? To call up a friend and chat about something pointless? That'd be real easy. But the life of a Christian and a disciple of Christ is not easy, nor is it the wide path.
