I see you have altered your definition of paraphilia again.

The definition of paraphilia in the DSM IV TR:
“recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors generally involving, 1. nonhuman objects; 2. suffering or humiliation of oneself or one's partner; or 3. children or other non-consenting persons, that occur over a period of at ≥ 6 months. The behavior, sexual urges, or fantasies cause clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning."

To take the criteria in order:
Homosexuality involves persons of the same gender, not nonhuman objects
Homosexuality relies no more on suffering or humiliation than heterosexuality
Homosexuality does not involve children any more than heterosexuality does
Homosexuality is as consensual as heterosexuality.
if one contends that homosexuality is the cause of distress or impairment in some area of functioning then one must clarify if it is the sexual orientation or the negative response of others that is the causative agent.

Does it actually say no other way or does not mention any other way?

God says in the Bible do not have sex with a man as you would a woman, he hates that. The New Testament later says that swindlers, homosexuals, revilers, drunkards, and a couple more kinds of sinner will not enter the kingdom of God.

So it's a sin, no question about it. How this thread ever came to fruition boggles my mind.

How about parents who beat their children to death with rocks? Do they get in?

Keep in mind, in each case of these sins in 1 Cor 6:9 - 11, it is a sin of action. The drunkard gets drunk, the swindler cons others, etc. There is a difference between the modern concept of homosexuality and the word used here which is translated most often (now, anyway) as "homosexual" - it involves action: the actual act of sex between two men [or two women, as the case may be]. While the current understanding of the term homosexual does not conclude an act of sex, only an attraction.

Yes I have kept this in mind, though I wonder if Jesus' words of a man committing sexual sin with a woman even by thinking of her lustfully would apply in the same way for homosexuals.

I have always been told that the ACT of homosexuality is a sin. there are a few verses that says so - Leviticus, Romans. But more of the Act is the sin like a drunk is not sinning as long as he doesn't drink to incapacitation.

This could Allude that I've been also told that Some Churches will accept Homosexuals to become Priests as they must practice Celebrate which Means that they will (hopefully) not commit ANY sexual intercourse which also targets the sin of homosexuality.

Yes this is something I always have thought should be done, a homosexual who wholeheartedly believes and wants to obey Christ should simply become celibate.

Having a thought or attraction is, indeed, different than lusting. To lust one must further entertain the notion. Having the thought or having the attraction is rarely, if ever, intentional or stoppable. But entertaining the notion, fantasizing freely of the idea, etc, is sinful. [In all sins, not only in sexual sins -as I believe was Christ's purpose in that particular lesson.]

And are you willing to embrace a life of celibacy in order to be an example to him? It upsets me when someone requires things of others that they could never match themselves. It is cruelty beyond imagining to have so little regard for others.

Paul, who did embrace celibacy says he was able to do so because he was given a gift to be able to do so, and that not everyone is given that gift. (As a life-long celibate myself, I know how precious, and how rare that gift is. I know I could not endure celibacy without that gift.) He did not require anyone without the gift to remain celibate, but instead recommended marriage to help overcome the burning of Passion.

I don't see how it can be with all the openly homosexual church leaders we seem to have these days.
Being homosexual isn't a sin. Any sex outside of marriage is a sin. So homosexual sex is a sin since God ordained marriage for one man and one woman.

My understanding of Scripture is that same sex sex is a sin, I don't believe the Scriptures address orientation. I don't personally believe that having homosexual desire (orientation) is sinful.

With that said, we could make an almost endless list of sins and all of us would be well represented by it. I believe there is a reason that Jesus made it simple; love God, love your neighbor. I won't be judged upon whether another person is a homosexual, I will be judged if I treat others, including homosexuals, uncharitably.

^so, they should totally deny who they are to appease you?

Appease me??? You must be mistaken, I'm not God...

Calm down friend, I am not requiring anything of anyone. I am simply recommending that it might be best to simply become celibate in order to avoid homosexual sin. Nobody has to listen to me of course, so how can you say I am demanding this? Paul demanded nothing either, he only recommended it. Please take time to understand my words completely.

The Church is full of all sorts of sinners. That doesn't make a sin less sinful just because church people commit the sin.

Not to mention that we have got some straight out apostate churches teaching and affirming errant doctrine.
