It's funny, but troubling that people don't get the difference between reality and what names we put on it.
Three questions:

1. Are you familiar with the shenanigans that went on to demote Pluto?

2. Why doesn't the International Astronomical Union take a revote?

3. Why does NASA want Pluto reinstated?

Possibly so, since the KJV does not deny evolution.
The KJB doesn't need to deny evolution by evolution's standards.

It can deny evolution in other ways.

The KJB doesn't need to deny evolution by evolution's standards.

More importantly, it doesn't deny evolution by God's standards.

Which is good enough for me. It's why YE creationists have chosen to add a few things to make it more acceptable to them.

1. Are you familiar with the shenanigans that went on to demote Pluto?

Yep. As the number of Kuiper objects increased, it became clear that Pluto was one of a great many similar bodies. So they could either reclassify Pluto or vastly increase the number of planets.

2. Why doesn't the International Astronomical Union take a revote?

Maybe they don't see a need for it.

3. Why does NASA want Pluto reinstated?

It doesn't. NASA has made no statement about it. Some (but certainly not all) NASA scientists have proposed reclassifying Pluto as a planet. Unfortunately, their proposed redefinition:

The scientists suggest planets should constitute as “round objects in space that are smaller than stars,” thus excluding white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes from the planetary status.
NASA scientists want to make Pluto a planet again

Would classify most moons, large comets, and so on, as planets. That's the rub; any definition that puts Pluto back in as a planet also puts in a large number of other objects that have never been considered planets.

Except this one, I just came up with:
"A planet is one of the nine bodies in the solar system that have been considered planets since the discovery of Pluto."

That would do it.

I hope you now see, this is a foolish game. What we call Pluto is really not a concern, so long as we understand it's properties.

To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln:
Q: "How many planets are there, if you count Pluto as a planet?"

A: "Eight. Just because you call something a planet, doesn't mean it is a planet."
