didn't say it was a guess .... and the beat goes on ;o)

Is science always right with their interpretations?

Do you mind sharing the extent of your formal
education in the sciences?

You seem to be speaking as from a very lofty height

Avoiding a question isn't an answer.

Not everything that is knowable can be known, the science community are diverse in their theories about many things (sometimes they agree, sometimes not) and same in the faith community.

Science is important .... amazing of the discovery of complexities involved ... how did all these complexities come into being? We will never know.

Are people without higher education not allowed to question those with formal education?

Who is "lofty" .... those with formal education or those without?

I routinely question people whose education in a topic are superior to mine. However, that questioning it not in the sense you seem imply. I might say "What was the specific background to changing the name inert gas to noble gas?" I wouldn't say "Why did you guys stop calling them inert gases and change it to noble gases? That was unnecessary."

Perhaps I've misunderstood what you mean, so please correct me if I have done so.

When those "interpretations" are found to be incorrect you know what corrects them? Science. We find out new things or invent new instruments that tell us more and we learn more. You know what has never, ever in all the time humans have been alive corrected science? Religious belief.

Nobody is always right, which includes for example
those who claim their Bible reading is infallible.

Of course lots of things will never be known.
It's hardly controversial. Why mention it.

Anyone is free to question what they like,
also not controversial.
I just wondered, you seem so sure, if
you speak from some knowledge or just
opinion.

As to your last, would you prefer the doctor,
or the janitor diagnose what they find in your
MRI.

I hope they had a good answer that you can relay cuz I still call them inert gasses and never understood the change. :)

Well, I couldn't actually think of an example, so I used a hypothetical one that I know (or certainly think I know). The inert gases are not inert. They do, under special conditions, form compounds. This was not thought to be the case when they were called inert. The noble appellation suggests they are a bit snooty and don't mix with just any element at the drop of an electron.

"Nobel" has that wonderful Victorian majesty to it.
Fun Fact
The term "noble gas" comes from the translation of the German word Edelgas. Noble gases have had their own special name since as early as 1898.

So we can blame it on the Germans in an AV sense. :)

And Argon is apparently from the Greek for lazy. Just more proof that scientists can't make up their minds. :) The things we learn here.

An equally vacuous response.
Music is also based in science: sound is produced with something vibrates – and those vibrations are brought to the ear as sound waves. And it's mathematical, varying in pitch, volume, tempo, and rhythm. The science of sound reminds us to stop, listen, and feel the vibration.

All the negative replies in this thread come from atheists, skeptics etc. That doesnt surprise me at all.

I believe in God's word. I also believe that God gave us science. It was superb to see Christian scientists in the documentary praising God and also lining up Biblical history with scientific facts.

Got it.

Maybe if more people did that, there would be a lot less deaths!

Which is why I tried to refer Isiaiah to you. but apparently this video is even to bad for an intelligent Christian to deal with. There are a lot more Christian scientists out there, and their discoveries were in fact the reason that the arguments presented in your video are dismissed.
You seem to be a true seeker, please do not stop seeking. Please go back and look for Isiaiahs posts and his others under Komatite as he is as an exemplary Christian in my opinion even if I don't find myself one.

I'm British. You have to read the sub-sub-text.

Ah. The old " won't know your head's been lopped off till
it hits the floor " trick.

I'm no good at subtle put downs in English.

Aside here, that for a long time, just the
sound of a British accent set off my instant
hostility.
Something understood in the colonies.

In college just the nicest smartest Chem professor
ever was British.
Time to retool the Ms Xu brain.
Side aside-
Anytime you guys want to come back and take over
again won't be a minute too soon, just in case
you been considering it...?

The positive only came from people utterly clueless
about the scam.
Sad to see someone so unwilling to even consider listening
to people far better informed than you.

From my side of the ocean, I see people in America embracing know-
nothing anti intellectualism, anti education .

On this side are untold millions of smart ambitious hungry people
unencumbered by such nonsense.

How might this turn out?

I will tell you this much. There won't be an angel with a flaming
sword (which turns this way and that) guarding the gates of
the trailer parks.
