Yes, as hard it is to believe Zeno, it's similarly hard to believe space at the Planck scale cannot contain smaller space within it.

There are a lot of things when you get down to the quantum level that don't make much intuitive sense.

But it is great that science doesn't stop at logical intuition a.k.a. theoretical physics, they then go into testing stuff out, kicking the tyres of the universe, to either confirm or deny the theory.
