I believe that evolution is a theory. Well, officially, it is one, too.
It's important to remember that a theory is not just an educated guess, though. Scientific theories have been tested thousands of times, they have never been falsified and you can not only explain phenomenons with them, but also make predictions based on them.
Most of the people claiming its a theory generally believe it to be false. Theories are not educated guesses, those are called hypotheses. A theory is what once was a hypothesis that has an incredible amount of evidence to support it and almost all theories have 0 evidence to prove them wrong.
All people arguing against evolution as a fact never cease to make me laugh, though as much as I like the enjoyment I can't just sit here with my mouth shut. I haven't seen one reply (against) that has made sense, people claiming that elephants evolving without tusks doesn't count because man interfered, Imagine lions decided that elephants with bigger tusks were tastier and decided to kill them off, would that then still not count? Because that is evolution by natural selection and I don't know about you but last time I checked humans were animals too.
To the person who brought up nature will never be at a balance, and prey will continue to evolve to outsmart the predator and vice versa, That is exactly how it is... Look at the Water Chevrotain, A relative of deer and antelope. It is the size of a house cat and can swim underwater like a hippo, It does this to avoid The Crested Eagle (its main predator) Both of these animals have evolved to combat each other. The chevrotain will stay submerged for minutes at a time, all the while the eagle uses it's superior vision to try and follow the chevrotain under the water.
I just don't understand the logic of people doubting these things.... It amuses me.
