Is Continuationism or Cessationism a hard doctrine to prove?

That's what I am saying. -- All churches have had it all along.

"... little kids playing house"? More ouch.
(do I need to remind you that the Love chapter lives between 1Cor.12 and 1Cor.14?)
"... does not dishonor others..." - vs 5
If they had it, you would have seen it.

The few healed were an example of the few saved among the masses of professing believers. The true believers are always that few in number.
Nope, I disagree. That's not the point.

In Jesus' hometown, "He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them." - Mk.4:4

Throughout Galilee, "healing every disease and sickness" - Matt.9:35

And gave the twelve authority "to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness" - Matt.10:1

Mark 6:4-6
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” 5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 He was amazed at their lack of faith. ...

Matthew 9:35
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.

Matthew 10:1
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.

Would the creation of the New Heavens and earth be a greater work?
Are you a hyper-illiterist? (can't read?) lol
That is NOT what Jesus said.
(greater works than the works he was doing because he was going to the Father)

Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit = only few were saved.

If they had it, you would have seen it.
That's not right.

The gifts were left under the tree.
The Theologians said, "Don't open those, it's the devil."
And most obeyed them.

I didn't trust them, so I peeked.
It looked like a gift that I desired, so I opened it.
I told the others about it. They said, "It's the devil."

Jesus said the gates of hell will not prevail against the church. You seem to think he was wrong.

And you accuse us of playing house? You accuse us of imposing a framework on the Bible? You accuse us of having an "agenda"?
If we are Christ's body, how can we not be with him?

Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit = only few were saved.
It seems that you are attempting to nullify ALL the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:8-10
To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

We still have ministry gifts. But the only the Apostles distributed the gifts most charismatics claim to have.

No. I'm storming the gates of hell to toss out those evil gift-denying Theologians.

Today's "gifts" are pure fiction. People pretending to have them but no evidence exists suggesting they do.

What happened to the small "a" on apostles? Did you change your religion?

Anyway, it is the Holy Spirit that distributes the gifts, not the Apostles. (capital A)
Is the Holy Spirit still around? Or have you and your "standard" theologian buddies dismissed Him as well?

Nobody today has the background necessary for being an apostle according to the Apostles.

If you have the goods, show them.
No one "has" the "goods". As in personal ownership to use at will.
They are manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Did you forget that?
These aren't parlor tricks to be performed for your entertainment.

Besides, what good would it do to show you?
If I spoke in tongues, you would say: "Gibberish."
If you were present when someone was healed, you would dismiss it.
If the dead were raised, you would ask to see the Coroner's report.

Did Jesus have "the goods"? Did he "show them"?

Mark 6:4-6
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” 5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 He was amazed at their lack of faith. ...

No evidence?
I have already testified to you that I speak in tongues, have seen the sick healed with the laying on of my hands and had visons that led to divine encounters.
And I'm not the only one. Did you think I was lying to you?
