I may have been thinking about Lot. The passage is considered shocking and disturbing and is widely interpreted as a narrative about the corruption and depravity of the people of Sodom, in which Lot and his family lived.

We also have a situation with Abraham being married to his half-sister. Science would consider Eve to be a half-sister to Adam. They would share the same mitochondrial DNA.

In the biblical context, a "kinsman-redeemer" referred to a close relative who had the obligation and right to buy back a relative's property or to marry a widow in order to maintain the family line and property. In this sense, a father-in-law could indeed be a kinsman-redeemer.

The concept of the kinsman-redeemer is best known from the book of Ruth.

From my understanding, Gates stepped away from direct involvement in MS many years ago to focus on his foundation. It would seem (if you are correct) that he has continued to invest in various commercial ventures. This does not mean that his ventures are created for future MS integration.

Seems a little strange that Bill would buy Microsoft stock. My guess is that he knows that his stock is about to go crazy. I just bought 7000 of it myself in anticipation that it will go up with the new version of Bing becoming available and people find out about it.

In addition to buying the stock he moved some of his holding to his tax free "philanthropy" fund. He is also doing very good making money off of the vaccines and boosters for the latest virus to make the rounds.

Musk is mad at Gates because he shorted Tesla. But it looks like he is going to make it up to him on the OpenAI - Bing deal. Because Musk is the founder of OpenAI.

Yes, you are right, they have and there was a congressional investigation. The programmers have some control over what chatbots are used. They can be used to program for you.
