  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And now they take it without any ill-feeling whatsoever. Jesus and His followers lived humble lives, taking only what they needed to survive so the money could be spent where it was needed, such as with the poor and the widowed. What makes Benny Hinn so special that he needs to stay at a five-star hotel?

My church does a lot more good with its money. They spend it on sending missionaries across the globe. They sent me to Seattle recently, and I definitely didn't stay in some high-end resort. Our pastor doesn't live like a king off the money given to the church either.

This isn't true, they had huge help from the community wherever they went. Jesus instructed them to take hospitality from whoever would receive them, to eat their food and accept their help

jesus himself was followed by a company of women who took care of his needs. One woman spent an annual salary's worth of perfume on him and he accepted it.

Judas helped himself to the money bag, and no one payed any attention. Must have been a lot of money in there or he wouldn't have gotten away with it considering the number of active people relying on that bag for their daily needs.

He predicted an economic collapse in the united states. Aside from this the only prophecy that comes to mind (that he staked his entire reputation on in 2004) was that Bush would get re-elected

Gee, really? An incumbent President getting re-elected? That NEVER happens.

As for the economic collapse, again duh. Experts saw that happening a mile away.

Benny Hinn doesn't even have to run a web site. He could preach on sundays, and fly to Africa or whatever country and preach there for the rest of the month. He doesn't even need to be in America. It has everything to do with perception. He could disappear off our radar completely, but then, where are the other evangelists?

I'm done with this and your petty tactics. You haven't the common courtesty to even answer my posts directly so that I know you're addressing me, let alone you keep deflecting.

Learn your Bible. When Jesus sent out His disciples, he instructed them to take nothing but the shirts on their backs.

Mark 6:8 - http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+6:8&version=NIVThese were his instructions: "Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts."

Jesus and His disciples relied on God to provide for them, and they never took more than they needed.

And God provided through the people, who they were instructed to rely upon. Your argument works against you, the people were to provide everything they didn't have when arriving at a new town.

Oh, really? Does Benny Hinn leave to do his missionary work with nothing but the clothes on his back? No. He travels with millions in his pocket. He does not rely on God to provide through his people. He hordes money and travels to speak to more people to convince them to give him more money. He doesn't even take just what he needs. He gives himself the best of everything. A servant of God is just that: a servant.

Its the board of directions that makes all the financial decisions and pretty much just lets Benny preach and direct their mission work

again for the third time if prophecy is from the spirit of God were did Benny hinn get his incorrect prophecies from ?

And diligent servants are taken care of

Jesus didn't rely on God directly when he had a train of women behind him washing his feet.

Here are the facts:

Binny Hinn does not live like a servant. He lives like a millionaire.

He claims this isn't true, but his own website even deflects the question.

He's tried to prophesy, but aside from the obvious predictions he's made, they've always been false.

He's also gotten a divorce, something which is against Biblical teaching. He says she's the one who filed for it, but he was not innocent in the matter. If a man can't keep a healthy relationship in his home, I'd have serious doubts for what he can do for God's family.

Benny Hinn's money would be better spent in the local church, where it belongs.
