The Bible says it but you can't find a passage that says it... is it one of those "read between the lines" things?
Did you read CAREFULLY what I wrote? I said: "There are Bible verseS and even passages. But you don't believe the Bible."
Does this mean that I can't quote a passage?
KCDAD, if you need to know more about the Bible, you can open a thread about that, or pm me or any Christian.
Where does it say the Bible is the word of God? "It" refers to an inanimate object, if I had meant Jesus I would have said "he". You are using the Bible as your source of knowledge, so where in the Bible does it (any passage in the Bible) say that the Bible is the word of God.
OR
Where in the Bible does the Bible say that Jesus said the Bible is the word of God?
Open a thread about that, or pm me.
Our topic in this thread: Is baptism necessary to be saved?
Please, stop wasting our time, and turning our focus away from the topic. You already said that you don't believe in baptism, because you don't believe the Bible. Clear. Nice to hear that. Now, hear what we, Christians, have to say: Baptism is not necessary FOR Salvation, but it is very essential IN Salvation. The Bible says that. If you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God, then you don't even need to think about baptism right now. You first need to know how the Bible is the Word of God. But I can't explain it for you here, because that's not the topic of this thread, and it's a long topic that needs a special thread or conversation. If we begin that conversation here, we may type pages about it, and thus forget the main topic of this thread.
Thank you for understanding and respecting others who read this thread.
May the Lord bless you richly!
