Is Astrology a science?

This is simple enough. We all know biology and chemistry and geology are fields of scientific endeavor. But what about Astrology? Do you consider that Astrology is a science?

No. It is complete pseudoscience. There are no consistent correlations between a person's character and the positions of the Sun and planets when they were born; there are so many free parameters in a horoscope that it could be made to fit any events in a person's life; and there is no physical theory to explain how astrology might work.

There is no species wide genetic bottleneck at the time of the Noachian flood. Therefore there could have been no worldwide flood.

I have a lot of ancestors with ~16 grandsons, lots of grandsons do not create genetic diversity. (Remember, the 16 grandsons only have 3 different mothers, the major source of their diversity.)

No, the separation between astrology and astronomy goes back to Abraham when God told him to: "come out from among them and be separate".

Today people can get a degree in astrophysics. Although they do talk about quantum physics also.

The Amish (Mennonites) and the "Jewish" people have an extreme Bottleneck with a lot of genetic diseases. This is one of the reasons they do so much research on DNA in an attempt to cure genetic diseases. The more diversity you have the more healthy you will be.
