Is anyone getting a WiiU?

I was wondering if there was anyone out there getting a wiiU. ?
I have a wii. But I definately do not have the money to buy a WIIU.
Its always so hard in the gaming world that consoles eventually become outdated.
Also is it worth getting? What difference will it make?

Probably not. I've not seen enough interest from the kids to bother. They are more into the Xbox right now anyway.

The big plus I see is that you can continue playing your game on the handheld if someone wants to watch the TV.

Having a toddler could make this feature very convenient. For my husband. My toddler doesn't play video games

Hardware is already outdated when it's compared to the 360. Nintendo works purely off gimmicks for their systems now and it's getting quite annoying because these gimmicks will never be used to their full potential since game designers don't want to design all new control systems to fit a specific controller such as the Wiimote. Plus, many games simply will not run on Nintendos outdated hardware.

We might do, after our family got a Wii it was used a lot for about 6 months then it didn't get much attention after that
