There's no problem, that's why people are outraged. When an adult parent is arrested it is cruel and inhumane to place the children in an adult prison. Add to the fact that in these cases adults risked the welfare of their children by bring them through so many miles of cartel controlled areas with the intention to break the laws of our country. The same thing is happening under the Biden regime with U.S. citizens, when an adult is arrested the child is separated--not thrown into an adult prison!! The idea that criminals should be paid rather than victims has been pushed by some Democrats this year, paying criminals not to commit crimes. Likewise Kamala had contributed to funds to bail out some hard left extremists who commit arson and acts of violence.

Good grief. These are not 'cash payments'. If the government loses any one of the cases in a court of law and there is any money involved then it will be compensation. If that is the case then the money will be required to compensate them for the actions of the previous administration.
How you see past efforts versus current effforts to reduce illegal immigration at the border has nothing whatsoever to do with these cases.
The only just compensation would be for the illegals to compensate the Border Patrol agents who have to deal with them.
The word sure got around that he was going to allow them in, so they even knew which shirts to have custom-designed for their journey. Next time, the shirts will say, "Biden, where's my half-million bucks?"

With at least 2 million illegals in this country, that'll be one way to tie up the courts. At least our lawyers will get rich from all that taxpayer money no matter which way the verdicts go.

I guess it'll depend on whether they are treated illegally or not. But you'll find that lawyers are reluctant to take on cases that they are not likely to win. Probably why a few have taken on these particular cases - they feel that they can prove that the last admin acted wrongly.

Yes, every time an adult is arrested the children are INTENTIONALLY not thrown into an adult prison. The children are prevented from entering the prison. As you know, Obama/Biden put children in cages, Trump saw the practice ended, and the Biden/Harris administration reinstated cages for kids Joe tried to keep the story hidden but photos were eventually taken. It is perfectly acceptable to keep kids out of adult prisons, packing them into cages and denying access to child protection workers is a real crime.
Multiplied by $450,000 each--that comes out to 900 Billion. Considering what biden is trying to shove through Congress right now, it puts the real wasteful spending into context.
But then again, he's not looking for one or the other, but both.
As to American citizens, EVERY child in the country under the Obama administration whose parent went to prison was separated and not placed in an adult prison facility with the parent. As to immigrants, families were split apart despite the claims of the Obama/Joe administration. Don't you remember the Obama/Biden cages, and how Joe reinstated the cages Trump eliminated? I think Obama and Biden should PERSONALLY have to pay for those who were treated so inhumanely:The Obama Administration did not separate children from their parents.
