You're in the wrong thread to talk about immigration policy. This thread is about the specific cases where large sums of money have been suggested might be granted to certain families as compensation for what happened to them and their children.

Yes, what happened to them due to what transpired as a result of immigration policy. It seems like now you're trying to reduce the factors of this case to the point where there's nothing to discuss about it.

Maybe you want to place some blame on the families themselves which will somehow mitigate what happened to their children. Maybe to suggest it was justified. Who knows. You aren't saying. But you don't need me to do that. You can do that all on your own. Someone might be interested in reading it.

You're taking the position of saying I'm trying to justify what transpired in a disparaging way, while taking the position that what transpired was unjustified, but you won't go into any detail whatsoever as to how and why. Instead I'm supposed to go off and do research to figure out what you're objecting to since you can't tell me in your own words - which somehow is supposed to be a deficiency on my part.

I've listed all the aspects of these specific cases that are unknowns. You have had nothing to add in this respect. No details at all. Neither has anyone else added anything. I have linked to just one of the stories that gives infomation as to why we might think the cases are being pursued. You asked for this info and you've been given it.

Do you have anything to add? I'm at the point where this is becoming a waste of my time.

I've spent I don't know how many posts asking for details about the cases in question. Remember them? The ones the thread is actually about? The cases about which I keep saying that there is a dearth of information about them? That all we seem to know is that figures of $450k are being thrown about. Remember them? The ones we are not discussing because of the lack of info but which everyone seems keen to discuss?

So you gave some info? I seem to remember. I didn't read it then because it had nothing to do with the cases that are being taken to court. But I've made a list of the points you cut and pasted.

They were about cartels thinking they could make more money under Biden. That illegal immigrants might think they'd be more welcome under Biden. That illegal immigration numbers were increasing. That gangs were changing their M.O. And that migrants are being told to lie about why they wanted entry. Is any of that true? Some of it might be. Is any of it of any relevance to the cases in question? Not in the slightest. Is any of it related to the cases? Not in any way. Does it add to the information we'd need to decide if the cases are justified? Doesn't come close. Is it in any way useful to the thread? Not in any way whatsoever.

Be sure to let me know when you have something pertinent. I've completely lost interest in this thread and don't want to waste any more of my time so I'll be ignoring anything that doesn't contain any info relevant to the cases. As your next post might be the last word on the matter, try to make it worthwhile.

Now you're moving the goalposts and asking for evidence of claims I never made.

Nothing about your posts indicates any sort of sincere effort at dialogue or even a basic level of competence. There's no point in providing you evidence of any claim, especially ones I didn't make.

Do you really need me to explain to you that that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the cases being brought against the government? It's as plain as day that you and others only want an argument about immigration. You haven't the slightest interest in discussing the matter at hand.
