You're in the wrong thread to talk about immigration policy. This thread is about the specific cases where large sums of money have been suggested might be granted to certain families as compensation for what happened to them and their children.
Yes, what happened to them due to what transpired as a result of immigration policy. It seems like now you're trying to reduce the factors of this case to the point where there's nothing to discuss about it.
Maybe you want to place some blame on the families themselves which will somehow mitigate what happened to their children. Maybe to suggest it was justified. Who knows. You aren't saying. But you don't need me to do that. You can do that all on your own. Someone might be interested in reading it.
You're taking the position of saying I'm trying to justify what transpired in a disparaging way, while taking the position that what transpired was unjustified, but you won't go into any detail whatsoever as to how and why. Instead I'm supposed to go off and do research to figure out what you're objecting to since you can't tell me in your own words - which somehow is supposed to be a deficiency on my part.
