Do you work for PACES during the summer?

Yes, it runs during the summer. 6am to 6pm. I'll probably have the 8-4 shift. We are open 6am - 6pm when there's no school during the achedemic year.

Psycho Sally is probably irritated that I'm still there.

I'm looking at moving to Texas...anyone been to the Houston area? My mom is moving there, and my wife thinks it'd be fun to move there. I'd love to be in a town where I could see my favorite sport teams come and play frequently! Any way, could I get some prayers #1 about this possible move...as well as any information about the area...why I would like it, hate it, etc. Thanks all! God bless and have a wonderful Monday!

Bobbie, I'd love to get together sometime this summer. Between work, youth group, and relay for life, I don't know when I'll get time. Maybe in August? May and June are going to be really busy for me. (not sure what July will bring)

I've heard Houston is a... not so great place to live. (coming from Texans on this site)

My boss was in Houston for a conference a couple of weeks ago. Being that it is the nation's 4th largest city, he was expecting a little more character. All the buildings looked the same. All the streets looked the same. Kind of boring.

I got a card from my granddaughter today.
Today was Confirmation Day at church. We have nine newly confirmed members. One of these kids was baptized just yesterday.

Ohh, it's nice to see so many Iowans around here. I wish I had shows up sooner. Have lived in Iowa my whole life, in small towns (about six of them, my dad was a Methodist preacher and we moved around the state). Anyway, blessings and all, hopefully I'll stick around.
