Thank you. This is our first (and God willing, only) marriage. My wife is Director of Nursing at the local nursing home. She was working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, but decided to explore other options after she got her Master's degree. I joined in October, but didn't start posting until a few months later. I haven't posted very frequently, just when the urge strikes. I decided to check out the Iowa threads to try to find some people in this area. I know how you feel. I hadn't attended church in almost 14 years until I met my now-wife. I started attending church with her and decided to join the church. I went through adult confirmation classes and was confirmed as a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in January.
