The flesh is not my enemy. You notice that in the passage you provide, the desires spoken of are referred to as "it's desires" The "it" being spoken of here is clearly pointed out as "Sin". "Sin" desires for Christians to offer up their bodies as "weapons for unrighteousness". I have every bit as much power to use the flesh God gave me as a weapon of his righteousness as I do a weapon of sin. In fact, more so, since Christ's death broke the control sin had over me. I do not have to sin. I can choose not to. When I do choose to sin, it is because in that moment, the dark forces have succeeded in convincing me that I want to. BUT I DO NOT WANT TO. And as soon as I commit the sin, it hits me: "Why did I do that? I didn't want to!"
ever hear the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak?

if the flesh is not our enemy why are you sometimes doing your will and not the Father's will?

I'ev already addressed this - the enemy is not the flesh...it is Satan and his demons who tempt the flesh. The flesh is not evil - it is very susceptible to the external temptations that come its way, but it is not evil. We can choose to use the flesh for righteousness.

Question:
Did Jesus say that if any man comes to him, they will not die?

Answer:
Yes

What does this mean? Well, obviously, the flesh dies. But Jesus said that Christians will not die. So that must mean that Jesus considers "man" as something other than flesh, or else it would not be true that Christians don't die. The Spirit does not die. Man is spirit. And the spirit is now covered in the righteousness of Christ. That's what Christ sees when he looks at a Christian - righteousness. If not, he couldn't even look at you, and you certainly couldn't linger in his presence. So, if Christ look at a Christian and sees righteousness, who are we to say otherwise.

And about the wills, I do believe man has a will of his own, but that is not part of his new nature - it is part of the system of the flesh. The other parts are physical body, personality, brain function, reason, etc. I believe that the flesh is still present with a Christian, of course, but I believe the "sin nature" is dead. Many people think "sin nature" is the same as the flesh, but I do not. I and many others define "nature" as the essence of a who a person is, at the very core. The flesh system, on teh other hand, isl temporary, and is shaped by environment, food, education, etc. - the system of the world. Before a person becomes a Christian he has a sin nature, and that is what drives him, that is his "motor", so to speak. But when a person becomes born again, the old sin nature is crucified, and we are given a new nature, the nature of Christ - and we no longer want to sin. The word tells us that. In Romans, when talking about sinning, Paul describes it as "doing the thing I hate". He's talking about his new nature there - it hates when the flesh sins. If the sin nature were still alive, Paul would say "My new nature hates to sin, but my sin nature loves it". The old nature is not being crucified daily - there is nothing in the Bible that says it is being crucified. It says it has been crucified (past tense). If the sin nature were still alive, the new nature could not reside in you, because darkness and light cannot abide together. Christ himself said that "a house divided against itself" cannot stand.

I used to think it was a civil war, that I was fighting myself. And it was frustratingly difficult to utilize the victory I have in Christ, and I was destined to lose...because when you're at war with yourself, you're gonna lose. But the Word says I already have the victory in Christ, and that I currently have everything I need in Christ Jesus. My war is not with the flesh (anyone else's or my own)...it is with the principalities and the powers...(the prince of this world, Satan and his demons). Once I started to really believe that, the temptation battles were much much easier to win.

I haven't told anyone from my church cuase I think they would think I was absolutely A-1-A crazy or worse.

We need a support group!

At the Rapture we get new bodies yet while we are here we sin so their is an OSN that is not dead yet 1 john 1:8-10....WHY THE SINNING WE GET A NEW BODY AT THE RAPTURE OR DEATH 1 THES 5:23

Gal 5:19-21 works of the flesh...adultuey, fornication, uncleaness, lasciciousness, idolatry, witchcraft[supersitious awe], hatred, strife..auguement , jealousy zeal, fractions..divisions , Herisies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelling and such like

When the flesh sins, it is because the will (which is a part of the flesh system) succumbs to temptation - from an extrenal source, Satan.
2 cor 11:14 and no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his minister also be transformed as the minster of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

minister of satan doing good things without GOD ....matt 7:21-23
So when you say satan what us to do fleshly things that is wrong that is why Satan created the world system to help control the flesh with his servants and to redirect christain to do good works for the world and not to other christians gal 6:10

satan as an angel showing the lier that satan is
ezekiel 28:14 an cherub highest spirit being not an angel
