I am a Christian FIRST and a conservative(ish) Democrat Second. My calvinism is very close to that of pristinegrace.org. Before professing the reformed faith, I was a Roman Catholic. After serious Bible study, I found many Catholic teachings to be unscriptual. For example, the veneration of saints, the veneration of Mary, all of their Marian apparitions and so forth. Here lies my problem: my entire family is Catholic channel not drive me to any church service (I do not drive for the moment and there is no public transportation in my town). For time being, I pray daily, continue studying the bible, and listen to Christian radio. Any other suggestions would help.

If you live in an area where there is no public transportation, there are churches which run buses and vans in most rural and suburban areas. PM me if you like and I can look up some services for you.

Call the Pastor and ask him if there is anyone who would volunteer to give you a ride.

My only suggestion would be to call the pastor of the church (or churches) that you think you'd like to attend and tell him your problem. Hopefully he will have or be able to find a way to get you there. For instance, there may be someone in his church who would be very willing to pick you up at home and bring you to church with them. This, in fact, is what we've done/do at my church.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m suggesting. Call a Pastor and ask about a ride. There are often members of the congregation who are willing to help with a ride.

A positive update: The people who have driven me to church in the past are now able to drive me again. It has been such a long time since i went to church and i had a great experience!
