My name is Samantha, I like to be called Sam. I accepted Christ into my life on December 31 2014 and received water baptism on June 28 2015. I am still learning a lot of things and seek guidance.

I grew up in a cult (christian science) and feel that I did not get to learn a lot of biblical truths as a child/teenager. This is why I feel like I still need a lot of guidance.

I also hope to make many Christian friends!

Sam - welcome to the Forums! It is exciting that you have recently come to the Truth from the christian science cult.

I would STRONGLY encourage you to get a book by Dr Derek Prince called "Foundational Truths for Christian Living." It goes over basic christian doctrine - something we all need to understand well. He was a very intelligent man and probably the best bible teacher of the 20th century. Keep your bible handy as he uses a LOT of scripture. It will help set your spiritual feet on the right path.
