Introducing myself - 40 year old Widow coming back to the flock.

Hi,
My name is Kristen.
I've joined for guidance and enlightment on Scripture. I accepted Jesus as my Savior at 7 years old. My faith has always been strong and has guided most of my decisions. However I have strayed in the last 20 years.
It was not until my husband suffered a heart attack that I truly started leaning on God and reaching out. Unfortunately he passed 32 days later leaving me a young widow two small children. This brought me back to the flock and I have been faithfully studying and praying since.
I had started a relationship with a fellow widower but we have recently decided to take it back to a friendship for now as the timing is just not right at the moment. So I am mostly searching God's word for guidance on being a widow and his promise for timing and relationships.
