Yes, I can speak High Tongue fairly well. I had little choice but to learn it since when I first crashed I landed in Serrani, an elf kingdom. I was there for a month so I picked it up at a good pace but the hardest part was differating some of the words, especially Who, what, where, and when, since they are all the same word 'ema' just with s a slight stress on the first vowel to seperate them. Two of my Isachar (bodyguards) during the war were elves so I spoke it a lot then too. Sennal's dialect was a bit different from the one Lehen and I spoke since she was from Jemmeca (an island nation that eventually became northern Sennal-Tal and where my capital is located).

Gaea is not that much different from Earth. Let me think... 4 continents - 5 if you count the Onogo Isles - 4 oceans, lots of wild terrrain. A few magic outputs like the Floating Mountains and the Shining Sea.

Depending on where you are structures will vary in size and shape. Serrani has a Roman look witha lot of trees, Shacry is a bunch of castles carved right out of the mountains, Deninvan has a early-1700s feel to its buildings, Midwen is the cross of medieval-cowboys, the Narar are nomads and have no buildings. Sennal-Tal itself is mostly an Aztec/Mayan stuctured kingdom. Lots of tall pyramid buildings with smaller villages surrounding them. Still a lot of wild terrain and jungles too, for the nymphs.

Technology, I miss real technology. Actually here it's techna. Then average Gaean nation has nothing more advanced that a ship with sails, and some of them only just discovered hw to use metal. The only nation to utilize techna on a massive scale was the Unity Empire, and that was only because the Emperor was from Earth too. They had sophisticated computers and WWII era weaponry (including you-know-what) but by an act of God they never figured out how to make effective machine guns. They also quickly developed cybernetic techna and Bio-enhancers and even tried their luck at cloning. The Gaean Alliance took some of this stuff during the war and has created some pretty wacky stuff.

As an Earthling, I have pushed foward to obtain as much leftovers from the Empire as possible, as well as use my own knowledge to duplicate stuff on Earth. Its been a slow proccess and magic is still the source of power, transportation, and everything else but I hope to change that soon.

Most irritating, I just finished this post and it wouldn't post! So now I've to write it all again...

You mentions earlier that you thought there might be a connection between earth and Gaea, do you have any theories about where it is or how it works? Are the oceans salt water? Are there squirrels and other animals that we have on earth?

+~+~+

I, Phyn, am the youngest of the three. Before me are Shyn and Quyn. We were born twenty-two years ago in the Year of the Lark. I also have a sister born sixteen years ago in the Year of Grace. Her name is Zerix. As is costumary, the priests named me and my brothers. Shyn means Sun, Quyn means Moon, and Phyn means Stars. In our land, your name determines where you will spend eternity, and the sons of the High gods must have the greatest resting place. No one but a Wern (prince) may have any of the names listed above. There are other High names, but ours are the Highest of all.

I am called the Evil on by many, and the savior, or Verkr, by others, but they are few. Right now, I am in hiding from my brother Shyn who is trying to kill me. When I am dead, there will be no one left to oppose the throne. Since we were all born on the same day, the custom is we must kill eachother off, the last standing rules. The Evil has been placed before my name because I am willing to do whatever it takes to rule. I did not kill Quyn, despite what you may have heard. But I'll do anything to anyone who opposes me.

*NeoScribe Speaking* Yeah, I hate when that happens, especialy when it says I haven't logged on and it says clearly on the bottom 'You may post replies'

Phyn, what are the other High names? I'm assuming Zerix is one of them, so what does it mean?

Speaking of your sister, who's side is she one? Does she have any plans for the throne (that you are aware of anyway)? Are other people involved in this family fued? ho's more popular and why are you interested in ruling rather than letting your brother have the throne - or would he kill you anyway?

*******

I honestly have no clue how my birth planet and my new planet are connected other than the nagging feeling in me that theirs something there that I'm missing.

The oceans are all salt water, but the area above the Mist Ocean is covered in a thick mist (hence the name) that makes it impossible to navigate but is breathable.

Squirrels... While I have not actually seen one, I'm sure they're somewhere on this planet, the carvings on some Shonred material has small rodents in them. I've seen just about every other Earth animal including some I was sure were extinct. T-rex - bad memories, Tiger - bad memories, Kraken - bad memories, velocirapter - bad memoreis. The only animal I don't expect to see is wolves. Maybe its because the fenrir are here, they are just big smart wolves after all.

That's a pity about the squirrels, they're such sweet animals. What happened with those animals (T-Rex, Kraken, and tiger) that made them bad memories? What is a velocirapter? Can any of the animals talk that appear like those from earth?

+~+~+

Some of the other High names that I know are Hex, Vrith, Uquy, Crint, Kr, Zr, Ir, Thy, Vry, Cy, Wy, Xy, and Zerix. Hex, Vrith, Uquy, Crint, and Zerix, are just lower then Shyn, Quyn, and Phyn. They mean in order, Traveler (he will travel throughout his after life from resting place to resting place) Shining Planet, Planet, Earth, and Violet. Zerix is the only High name for a woman. After those, come the others, all meaning Seat By the gods. The gods meaning us, Shyn, Quyn, and Phyn. Those who come to be seated by us will serve us forever. Unfortunatly, I shall be short of servants for a little while when I first go to my grave.

I love my sister very much, and she loves me. She has always favored me above the other two. Perhaps because I noticed her before her support was needed, or it might just be a foolish fancy of hers, though I doubt it.

Yes, my sister does have a claim to the crown if every one of the male successors are killed. I don't think that she has any devices though of killing me, I trust her with my life, and she has saved me more then once.

I am so set on ruling for three reasons, the first being the yes, my brother would kill me no matter what. It it not requirered that he kill me if I give in to his ruling, but he is angery at me for stealing, in a sense, the affections of the woman he loves. She fell in love with me instead and we were married about six months ago. Two months before my fathers death. He has never forgiven me. The second reason is that he is all together unfit to rule. He spends his night late drinking and has many people thrown in jain in a mere pretence of being a traitor. If a man has a grudge against his neighbor, all he need to do is whisper the word 'treason', and that man is killed. Thirdly, I love adventure, and trying to get the throne is a grand one. That is a very selfish reason I know, but I have several good ones as well, so I think it hardly matters.

As to who is more popular, Quyn always was, and the people still think that one of these days, he'll look down from the moon and see their distress and come kill off his wicked brothers. So both Shyn and I have problems with the peoples loyalties, but for the moment, I have the upper hand as I conduct myself somewhat better.

Phyn, how much support do you have? Is this fued limited to between brothers or are the rest of your people involved too? Who do you think killed Quyn, and who are his followers supporting now? Who's your wife?

*****

Animals love me. They love my scent, my bones, my brains, and most of all my taste. I seem to attract the worst animals on the planet. In this order; Kraken - me, my sister, and the Isachar were attacked by several of these super sized squid on our way to the Onogo Isles. The subsequent destruction of the ship seperated me from the rest of my team and left me stranded on an island controlled by North Deninvan while everybody else made it to South Deninvan. Velociraptor (those crazy dinos in Jurrasic Park) - on our way to Dead Island we ran into the Hexra named Naxis, the Dread Shadow. His love of making everything difficult for his enemies included sending a pack of starving velociraptors to eat us. For the whole night we had to stay awake and moving. Tiger - While attempting to storm Aushwiten, the MegaFortress of Notob Hexra, the Death Claw, I happened to stumble across one of these brutes, literally! I then engaged in the most terrifying staring contest in my life before I was rescued by my Isachar and Narar rebels. T-rex... You know, I really don't want to go there. I miss squirrels.

The fenrir resemble wolves and those that learn how can speak to other people. Notob was (I think) a fenrir and he spoke Common Tongue perfectly. The Narar leaders spoke enough to understand, and the Thesis speak it just fine.

The T-rex was really that bad? Why do you think animals love you so much? Can their love of you be a good thing sometimes? What was the greatest victory in a battle? Do you keep pets?

+~+~+
There are two kinds of support, the common people, and weaponry/solders. As far as peasents and such, I have the majority at the moment, but I'm sorly lacking in amunition and trained warriors. Our last skirmish still makes me wince at the loss of life. I lost at least twenty men out of thirty men all in all, and my brother only lost ten out of one hundred. Many more Lords support my brother, so he has more food, safe forts, and medical care. My men and I on the other hand, are nomads and at the moment we're camped in the Fren Mountains.

The feud is between everyone I guess, as each person rallies behind a person of power. I truly think that Shyn killed my brother Quyn, but he denis it and lays the blame on me. Our brother was killed before our father (I think Shyn did that two, but it can't be proven) and so if one of us did do it, we immedietly loose our claim to the throne.

Quyn's followers are neutral, or claim to be. They might end up producing someone who looks like our brother did. My spies are looking into it. Other then that, they're (Quyn's followers) harmless.

My wife is Miriea is the daughter of the late Lord Greth of Min Mores. She was born twenty years ago in the Year of the Shren (a type of delicate bird that sings). She accompanies me into battle, and has survived so far. I've tried convincing her otherwise, but she says she won't be left behind.

Do you have any planes to tip the balance of power in your favor? How extensive is your spy network? Were those thirty troops all you had or do you have reserves somewhee else? Your Father died too? I did not know that, how did that come about? Do you have any notable allies other than your wife? Do you prefer open combat or guerilla warfare?

******

The T-rex was that bad and then some! I'm a calm guy but I hate those creatures and have been seriously tempted to take them all down. Why animals (paritcularly dangerous ones) love me so much I have no idea - but I blame the Hexra - I have no reason to think this but the Hexra have become something of a group of boogeymen since the war even though most of them are dead. I have no pets but my wife keeps a small pond filled with fish and other harmless water creatures in the palace to remind her of home and keep her healthy.

My greatest victoy in battle would have to be the battle at the Unity Capital. It was a two-pronged assault with Gaea Alliance forces from the Anagaran Continent kingdoms attacking the city fortress from the north and my forces and Zandwanan Continent allies from the south with the seraphim of Tyonii attacking from above. The battle actually procceeded a week ahead of schedule with a lot of our forces arriving after the battle had begun. This was at my urging since information that cost one of my best friends' her life to get to me revealed that the intial battle plan would get us into a trap the Emperor had worked out to get all his enemies in one place and unleash his power right on us after he manifested himself into the physical world. The battle lasted two days and while my northern allies fought the main force at the front of the city, the southern forces along with myself managed to breach the cities walls and launch an assualt right into the Emperors palace. A lot happened after that. I fought off several Hexra, including Skye, and came face to face with the Emperor with only Jonah by my side. He was a something I'll never forget. Long story short, we won. A two day seige of 1,000,000 troops with 300,000 surivivor but the death of many including my failed clone Jonah, she died right after the battle ended. We never got a clear enemy estimate but at least 9/10 of their forces were slain that day with 4 of the remaining 6 Hexra confirmed dead as well as the Emperor - personly slain by my hands. The war ended a couple days latter.

How does your wife get about on land? What did the Emperor look like? How can you have a female clone of a male? What was it like, realizing you had won the war? What would you do if ever someone came and destroyed everyone and everything you hold dear?

+~+~+

There is one great plan made up of lots of smaller plans in order to tilt things in my favor; yet fate seems to make the easiest of them difficult beyond reason. My spy network is very large, for the whole schema of things depends on their success. I have spies in every guild, village, and enemy camp. Many of them are just common people, girls, boys, old men and women, some don't even realize they're spies. None of the spies knows the true identity of another, all using code names and never meeting face to face. So if one string were to be cut, not even half the web would collapse. All messages are sent me wherever I might be.We are also on constant look out for someone who is against us. At the moment, there is a young woman who has inquired severl times of who fellow spies are, and who is the spy leader. None know it is I, though probably more then one assumes correctly. As to the girl, we are watching her closely. I must admit that I love to hear of the stupid doings of the Lords who support my brother, and more then one has had an accident which proved fateful when drunk.

Those thirty men were the only men left to me besides my spies, those few months ago. Now I have gained the twenty back nearly three times. It is getting hard to provision all the men, and with winter coming, it will get harder. I am thinking of abonding the Fren range, and heading south to the forest. It will be warmer and there shall be plants as well as animals for eating.

My father was out hunting, his favorite thing to do besides eat and boast of his new bride; a young thing from a neighboring country. I should like to mention before I go into the particulars of my fathers death, that he was the best huntsmen in the land. He always won at competitions, and not because he was king.
Well, my father was out hunting, and he was riding fast-according to the only servant who made it back alive- near the edge of a cliff, when suddenly his horse, a beautiful mare that had faced lions before, spooked and ran off over the edge. My father leapt from his saddle and landed upright on the ground. Out from behind the rocks lumbered a great bear. My father drew out his sword that had slain so many bears before, and charged before it had time to blink. The bear supposidly killed my father and all other men with him besides this one. I find it most interesting that his man is the right hand of my brother.

I do have several lords who openly proclaim they are for me, and there are a few who do it in secrecy while telling my brother they haven't yet made up their mind about who to serve. I prefer open warfare to sneaking around, but at the moment, that is all I am fit for unfortuantly. I fear that there will only be one great battle to finish it all in the end.

You mentioned a new bride so I guess thats your stepmother - who's side is she on? Does she have any political power? When was the last time you saw any of your siblings? Is this snooping girl working for your brother or someone else? The lords that have allied themselves to you, are they in the same general area or scattered about? Are any of them near the forest you are making your base at? How can you prove that your brother had something to do with the other family members deaths? Can't you just raid an unfriendly noble for supplies?

******

My wife is one of the best magic-users in the land despite never having attended an acedemy or school, she uses magic to shift between tail and human legs.

The Emperor was once human, but no longer. Remember the T-rex? Make an image of crossing the T-rex with a human with a robot with big plates of armor with something from your worst nightmare with a blue gem in the middle of its forehead and you got the Emperor. Not a pretty sight, and he's got Avilar and magic powers too.

Jonah. I called her a failed clone for a reason. out of 300 attempts to clone me she was the only survivor and she was a girl. An army of Avilar was not very effective if only one broken one out of 300 soldiers and decoys made it out alive. The project was scrapped thereafter. What Unity did not count on was that just because she wasn't an exact copy she was still a copy and was able to produce the same gem out of her forehead to mark her as an Avilar. She was also a little unstable at first because while her body had grown to that of an 18 year old she had the mental knowledge of a 3 year old (somehow she picked up my early memories during her sleep). Then after the Empire forced us to fight our minds linked and my earliest memories were tranfered to her. This caused me to forget my birth mother other then the faintest shadow of thought and made Jonah think that I had stolen her memories and not the other way around. But thats another long story that I'd rather avoid right now. My clone was the only family I had after Skye left and before I married. She was young and confused but thoughtful and kind but she payed the ultimate price to ensure that I lived and Gaea did not spiral into another age of sensless killing and hatred.

When the war was suddenly over everyone celebrated like it was new years eve. 2 1/2 years of the largest and most bloody conflict the planet had ever seen was finally over and the masterminds of it all (except one) were dead and their armies shattered. I knew that this time of good feelings would not last and unless something was done quickly my allies would turn on each other and go back to the way things had been before the war. Withthe halp of some of my more sensible allies we managed to keep the world occuppied on rebuilding and setting up new governments were Unity had been. We made sure that people learned from the mistakes of the past and made people believe that a brighter future awaited them if they didn't kill each other, which was totally contridicting what they had been raised to believe. Its a hard task and with a multi-racial kingdom like mine its almost impossible but with firm hands and strong will the peole can learn to live to their fullest.

And if it was all to blow up in my face? Thats my biggest fear. See, the situation I'm in is very similiar to the one of a guy 300 years ago. In fact, we've done everything almost exaclty the same. But he did some things I didn't, and I've done things he didn't. Everything he did was destroyed and crushed. He despaired, but hope was not lost. No, it was twisted and crushed into a vile parody of itself and turned to evil. This guy rebuilt everything but his old knowledge led him down a different path then before. This guy was the Unity Emperor.

Do you have any children? Was it hard killing the emperor? Do you smoke a pipe? Are there toys in Gaea? Is there literature? If so, what kind? Is there even a written language?

+~+~+

Hmmm, my stepmother. Well, for starters, she never took a shine to me. About three seasons ago, it didn't really matter to me at all; my father was supposed to have lived much longer, and perhaps have more sons and daughters. My stepmother wouldn't have to play a main character in the fight for power. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out that way, with my father and brother dying and all. My stepmother is now my sister-in-law, the Queen of my brother Shyn. We also know now that she can use magic to sway minds, change form into a black eagal, and cast spells. It came as quite a shock when the news reached us, but we are ready for whatever she gives us. Thankfully Zerix knows something of magic as well, and can protect us by her presence be near.

That last time a saw my sister was just the morning as she came back from a walk looking for healing herbs, and the last time I saw Quyn was when he was being lowered into the ground. Shyn I last saw at the battle where I lost twenty men.

The spy who we're watching is currently working, allegedly, for my cause.

The lords who are my allies are scattered mainly to the northern part of Nriith (my country) but a few are on the boarders of Gwáith to the south, where the Cryton river runs through the Dwan forest (where we mean to go for the winter) and on to the Quyn falls. It is very tempting for goods to be smuggled into the land through that passage, but at least I will abide by the rules.

I can't prove for certain the my brother or his new wife had anything to do with killing my father or brother, just suspicion, and the fact that their (father's and brother's) death instantly gave them the upper hand in this war.

I can't at the moment raid a noble of supplies because my men are so few; I can't afford to loose any more. We do attack supply caravans and the like whenever we can, and it often is enough for a few weeks.

Okay, I'm gonna start by Eeeeeewwww - and I think you know why. Do only females control magic? What rules? How is the country surviving with this civil war? Are other nations getting or threatening to get involved? War aside, were you close to any of your brothers before this all started?

*******

I have no walking, talking children at the moment, but I am pleased to announce that my wife is currently 4 months pregnant with our first child. This is one of those few bright moments that makes running this country bearable - and as a bonus I can use this as a reason to let the people celebrate and for the moment stop racial tension. I just hope the baby will come out healthy.

Was killing the Emperor hard? Yes. He was bigger, stronger, scarier, had about 300 years to mold his body into a crazy destruction thing and hone his powers and magic. But we outnumbered him 2:1 and what we lacked in all the above we made up in flexibility, experience in using a physical body, a couple of powers and tricks he didn't suspect, and sheer willpower.

No, I don't smoke. But I did get drunk once.

Toys consist mainly of miniture swords and dolls. Not a big industry at the moment. But the kids are content and they play games. I think soccer is universal.

Literature and is contained mostly to the races that had time for it and it was mainly just scrolls of magic or history. There are several written langauges but no standard so words are written as they sound to the writer's ears, something else I've been working on. I've mastered some of the writings but the one I understand most easily is the unity Empire's since its just a slight deviation from The Pact standard writing. Lehen says he plans to write an autobiography after he retires (which as far as I know could be another 500 years).

Lol, you asked
Who is Lehen? When did you get drunk? What are the memories you remember from earth? What do you do all day? How many hours is the day? Are there changes of season? What color is the sun? Are there stars and constelations?

+~+~+

It is tradition that only women can use magic. How this came about is quite a long tale involving several centuries. The long and short of it is, what when a women uses magic, it can only be so powerful; when a man uses magic, it gets way out of control. The results from that time are still here in the form of faries, elves, and talking animals. There are a few other magical creatures, but they have passed almost entirely out of legend.

The rules that apply to our war at the moment are as follows.
1. No other countries can become involved in any way.
2. No other countries can take over another country when in the time we're in, or else all their neighbors and the neighbors' neighbors, will invade.
3. No use of magic in the final combat between contestants for the throne.
4. If you brake any of the rules and can be proven guilty, you're claim to the throne is taken away.

The country is holding up rather well. I heard that in my great-grandfathers time, the population decreased by at least 1/3 from hunger and 1/8 from the actual war. Twins are very common in the royal blood lines, so there have been many wars.

I was always very close to my brother Quyn, he and I spent much time together as young ones. Shyn always considered himself to good for us, and refused to lower himself to our inocent play. I'm rather glad of this, it will be much easier to kill him when the time comes.

Yes, I did ask, and now I regret it. Warn me when your answer is creepy like that.
Do any of these non-human races take a side in this conflict? How are the laws concerning the other nations interference enforced? If you win the war have you considered changing tradition and law to prevent sibling power struggles? This really can't be good for the nation.

When Quyn was alive, did you support him or did you still have your own army? How do you plan to help your nation when you win?

******

Lehen is a legenday Serrani elf general and my Captain of the Guards, also called the Black Arrow. He was the one who rescued me (only to have me thrown in jail) after I crashed and then locatede my sister. Afterwords he was assigned to me as one of my Isacar and kept me safe for the rest of the journey. Shortly after Shacry and Serrani went to war Lehen was banished after he refused to kill me after the Serrani thought Skye and I were going to be a liability. After that Lehen swore his alliegence to me and my sister and continued to serve as my protector and guide and teacher. he is a brilliant fighter and military stategist and by elf standards is really weird. He doesn't look down on other races, he dislikes lounging around, he eats meat, ect. For some reason he wears a scarf around the bottom half of his face and none of us have ever seen his whole face. Should me and my wife every become incompacitated or otherwise unable to lead he would take command of the nation.

I got drunk 3 years ago with Auhsed. I woke up in bed with a killer hangover. Thats all I remember.

I dont remembr much from Earth except my family and early childhood and some stuff I learned in school. Everything else seems superficial to me and not worth thinking of.

My day consist of waking up, getting dressed, waking up my Mililane (my wife sleeps like a log), then its off to work. Running the country means I need to make sure everything I ordered yesterday got done, overseeing the new Railroad and factory construction, reading the latest racial stabability reports and modifying the population of each area, listening to the diplomats to and from other nations and the NAF, checking in on the education programs, odering an increase or decrease in this or thats budget, testifying at the War Trials, sending search parties for the remaining Unity fanatics and Hexra rebels, a couple hundered other things... Then I eat. Sleep. Repeat. Think up excuse for not having to do all the above. Do it all the next day.

There is 24 hours in the day. There is change in the seasons but Sennal-Tal stays at an average tempurature so I don't notice it much.

The sun is yellow, like Earth's, but Gaea has three moons: Cronis, Thesis, and Aphek. Lots of stars but I dont know any of the constellations.

*Note by author* I've just changed a few things in the story. 1. It is legal for other countries to help one side in the provisions and weapons and such. They just can't send men. 2. Zerix is now 18, born in the Year of Famine 3. The Forest is actually located to the north now, so they'll be headed to the Valine Caves. Which are still the border with Gwáith. I think that's it for now.

+~+~+

I'll try
If you were offered a ride back to earth, would you accept? Do you have telescopes? Are there other planets in the solar system?

+~+~+

Some of the other races do, and some don't. At the moment, the Fernwen tribe of Elves is aiding me. They can be very useful for slipping into enemy camps and listening at doors since they are so small and can easily conceal themselves. All the other elvish tribes are still neutral. I don't forsee them being a problem though, since my brother gathers much support from wealthy people by promising that if he wins, he'll either bann elves or enslave them. The faries help me in little ways, but they're fighting their own war at the moment. And the talking beasts, I've only met one before, and it ran away in fright at the thought of a talking human.

The laws are inforced by the threat of invasion, I forgot to mention that all offences are punishable by that method.

I do not think I will be the one to change the law. Of course, when I have children my veiw might change, but I think it is good, or you'll have a powerful enemy your whole reign, and that can't be good.

It is bad for the nation in some ways, and good in others. Bad because it uses a lot of supplies, men, and money. Good, because it cleans out the political system, purging the land of those who only seek to gratify themselves.

I supported Quyn when he was alive, and I intended to fight as a general in his army.

When I'm out in the woods, and I see the animals and plants, or when I'm in a village, buying something, I see life as it is. Not dressed up for me by nobles so that they look good. And I am content, and so are the people. Life is hard, but changing it would only make it harder. I'm sure once I'm Emperor, I'll probably change many things, but I'll never wish to upset the natural cycle of life here as we know it. I believe I wasn't fated for that, and someone later on can change it.

*Authors Note has been noted* Grrrrrr... It did it again! It wouldn't let me post! This computer is lame!

Invasion by whom? If you're embroiled in a civil war how do you invade another country at the same time? What/where is Gwaith (I dont know how to put the little mark on top of the 'a')? Who do you trust the most in your army? Do you normally wear armor or do you stay in normal clothes? What is clothing and armor like there anyway? What kind of talking beast are there? When you have children will they be called Shuyn, Quyn, Phyn, and Zerix too?

******

I thought about that question a long time ago and thought long and hard. Eentually I decided that i would not leave Gaea. Although I don't believe it, several of my closest friends have stated that the kingdom would fall apart without me and that the world itslef would slip back into chaos. While I doubt that we have progressed so little I do feel that I am needed to help maintain order until Sennal-Tal can govern itself as well as make it my priority to help other people and nations progress past this 'You kill me or I kill you' stage in history. I also do not want to abandon my new family and friends. Sometimes I miss my old nation, my planet, my moon, my school, my family and friends - but I am confident that I can do more good here than there. And I would not trade my people and the little island and patch of land we live on for all the planets in the Pact.

Yes, there are telescopes, though nowhere near as powerful as the ones back in the Pact Federation (heck, not even as powerful as the ones from Unity), I'm no sailor or astronomer so i don't use them much but we have set up a lab for more space study but it is not a priority issue now or in the near future.

There are two planets visible from Gaea. One is called Mivineles and the other is simply known as the Moving Star. I do not know of any other planets besides those two but I feel it would be safe to assume that there are others.

*Instructions on how to do the mark over 'a'* First, make sure that your NumLock in on. Then, press the alt key. While holding down the alt key press 3-2-3-2. And presto! There it is. I once new how to do a, e, i, o, and u, with marks and stuff over them. But I forgot to write them down (typical of me) so I can only use á.*

Are there guilds on Gaea? What are the fashions there? What is your clothing and armor like? What do you look like? What does your wife look like?

+~+~+

Sorry, again for not being clear. I meant invasion by my allies.

Gwáith is a large country to the south and east of Nriith. They are the largest country, and have been our allies for the past one hundred years. Most other countries respect us since they are our allies and neighbors.

I trust my general Vern the most. People have accidentally mistaken him for my son several times as he is so small but otherwise like me.

I usually stay in my normal clothing as it suits our life style better. If I know that I'm going into battle, or have a great chance at being attacked, I will wear some armor. Our armor is made out of Gwenth hide. A huge animal that feeds on the plains of Gwáith, with a tough hide and it is very dangerous to hunt. It is slightly furry in winter, and is typically pure white.

There are several different types of cloth in our land. One is a very smooth and soft cloth made from Thy reeds which grow only by the Cryton river. Another is a rougher cloth made from the Derthin plant. It grows in almost every meadow and is the most common cloth. The most costly coth is made from the fur of the Shyn leopard with lives in the mountains. Only the king and his direct family may wear it.

The talking beast that I saw was a squirrel, other then that, they are unknown to me.

Yes, my first three sons will be named Shyn, Quyn, and Phyn and my first daughter Zerix.

*Maybe I have bad memory too, but didn't your age meter say 14 awhile ago? Whens your birthday?*

Okay that's cleared up, Aside from Gwaith (this computer won't let me put the ' on) and Nriith, what other countries border yours? Who's side are each of them on? How active are they in support? Do you have a Shyn pelt to wear? When did you meet Vern? What do you look like?

******

Yes, trade and merchent Guilds are active in some parts of the planet. Latvam and Medekite are kingdoms actually ruled by a council of the Guilds. Not very present here though.

Fashions, seriously, if I attempted to detail them all I could write a book on the subject. Even in Sennal-Tal its very different. Oni wear peltskins and humans wear cloth woven from plants as well as animal skins. The nymphs wear all leaves and vines. The few elves left were only woven material like loose silk. Sennal herself use to where this in big robes.

My normal clothes are the basic for the royalty line of Zewan-Tal, the part of Sennal-Tal that the oni come from with some modifications to please my human countrymen. A red tunic and black dyed animal hide pants and overcoat. To make the nymphs happy, I also wear the Saquib (former nymph kingdom) gold belt and shoulder sling made to look like leaves. And to honor Sennal and out of respect for the elves of Jemmeca (former kingdom) I hold the Scepter of Thesis. I keep my Altrien sword with me as well.

I have brown hair a little hair then my shoulders. Green eyes. A blue gem in the middle of my forehead. About 6 feet tall. I'm told I look older than I am.

My wife is a few inches shorter than me. Blue wavy hair and silver eyes. When she is in water she has a blue tail. Her skin is tanned from being in the sunny water for so long. Since her pregnancy she has worn a long white shift but has not lost any of her cheerfulness or tenderness. My main worry is she is sometimes clumsy on her feet so I have insisted she always be accompanied by an escort.

*Not a bad memory, I did have a birthday in november. When's yours?*

+~+~+

What are you going to name your child? Are there different religions on Gaea? What do the flowers look like? Does your country have a flag? Do you hope that your child is a boy or girl? What will you name it?

+~+~+

Nriith is my country, sorry again for being so very unclear. Or did I not understand the question? Besides Gwáith, there is Dolidra-fin, Yatha, Gilna, and Trethor Mar.

Dolidra-fin and Yatha support my brother. Gwáith, Glina, and Trethor Mar support me.

Each of them has great difficulty in crossing the border since all but the Fren Mountains to the north and the Valine Pass to the south. Unfortunately a fort is being built at the southern most point of the Fren Mountains. Once my men and I reach the Valine Caves, it will be easier for others to access me from other countries.

I do have a Shyn pelt to wear. It is my cloak that I wear into battle.

I met Vern a few moments before he was going to be killed by two men. I saved him and he is now my most faithful companion.

I stand near 7 feet tall, have black hair reaching the middle of my back and dark green eyes. I have broad shoulders and pale skin.

*Sorry it's so short, very long hard week*

I knew it! Happy birthday! Sorry for saying that kinda late. Mines in Janurary. (or Junariaus if this was Gaea, which used to be Ianariuas but was renamed for Jonah)

*******

Yeah, I thought Nriith was another country, sorry. Does the name mean anything? Phyn, man you're tall! I guess your brother doesn't have a hard time tracking you. Does anybody else you know of want a shot at power? How big is your nation compared to the others?

******

To answer Question 1 and 6, we plan to name the child Joseph if he is a boy and... well, we haven't really decided on a girls name yet. To be honest, I'm kind of hoping for a boy, female blood-relatives tend to disappear from my life in rather harsh ways.

There are several religions on Gaea. The two main ones seem to be worshiping of the two largest moons Cronis (power, strength) and Thesis (wisdom, knowledge). I have never seen one that worships Aphek (love, peace), but knowing the Gaeans, that is not all suprising. I had an encounter with a small tribe of humans who worshipd some sort of God-King who pretty much declared me a demon and tried to have me and some orphan non-humans burned at the stake. It was a very creepy experiance to see how people could be so manipulated by fanatical cult leaders, much like how the Unity soldiers seem to idolize their Hexra. I beat the guy and the people lost faith in him. Before I felt I had a guy ordained as a priest and gave him my PC so he could learn to read and study the Bible. I left only to come back ten minutes later to marry Mililane.

Flowers are just like Earth flowers, I think. I was never good a botony. That was Lehen's and Sennal's area of expertise.

We do have a flag. Like alot of things it was a hard but easy decision to make. Hard because it took forever to decide what would be on it, easy because everybody supported the final decision when it was finally offered up. It is a red flag with three golden circles on top of each other (the first one smaller then the next) to represent the Eclipse from the last battle.
