i'm a hoosier born and raised! i live in fort wayne. my boyfriend hates it here cause he says its always grey. but of course he's from new york and practically lived in the mountains - of course that scenery and stuffs gonna be better! guess he's just homesick

i think the fort's a nice size. we got SOME stuff to do lol movie theaters, the zoo's pretty good, putt putt, Glenbrook for those big shoppers and JP for the outdoor shoppers. mmm yes i enjoy it...as long as i can travel a little every now and then

Go Komets! The Fort is the only city in Indiana that seems to recognize that hockey is indeed a sport.

USI has a hockey team and there's always the Evansville Thunder.

Hello Hoosier!! I'm from Seymour, IN. I practically live here all of my life but went to school in Columbus, IN. I go to the deaf church in Southport (about 3 miles south of Indianapolis) and been going there for about 6 years now (Yeah... I drive up to Indy areas 1 or 2 times a week for church.... since there is no deaf ministry in southern IN.) I am planning on relocating to Indy areas since my 2 boys go to deaf school (ISD) and make our trip to church easier. Anyone here live in southern Indiana????

I'm from Indiana. I lived near South Bend in a town called Plymouth. I lived in Kokomo for a bit. I travel to Terre Haute often. I live in West Lafayette. I travel all over the state now. I have business partners in Muncie, Gary, Indy, Evansville, Terre Haute, Lafayette, South Bend, Valpo, and some others...

I should read through and see who else is from Indiana... anyone in the Lafayette area?

HA!!! Are you kidding? I'm the biggest nerd around! I never got into the parties. I was always made fun of by people in the dorm. Totally nerdy!!!! I never dated, hardly ever drank. Tried it once just to see what the fuss was all about, got sick. I spent my weekends working in Marion. Yeah....a real party! NOT! lol! Excitement for me was free movies at the student center. Sad, sad, sad. The only thing colourful about my time in school was my clothes (it WAS the 80's, ya know!)

Hey all. Im a Hoosier, too. BTW, what IS a Hoosier? Eh well, one of lifes mysteries I guess. Anyhow, I live curently in Fortville, IN (close to Greenfield, a little NE of Indy, abotu 1/2 hour). Ive lived in this area for most of my life (save when my parents and I lived in Geist for the 1st 8 years of my life), and know the whole of central Indiana well. Not a big sports fan so I wont be cheering for anyone, but hey if youre on Gods Team then I'll root for ya! Hehe

I will be at state fair on August 15th (Sunday). After my church service, I have to run off to ISD (Indiana School for the Deaf) to register my son and then I may take off to state fair... if I have time!! I think state fair last 2 weeks.
