This made me think back to the Byzantine Empire and how eunuchs were often appointed to administrative positions thinking that by removing the reproductive abilities they could not pass on to heirs their positions and therefore were freer from corruption. Of course, history shows that they were not and in some cases became some of the most devious politicians around.

Sure would be nice to know something of his policies or positions on matters of importance to his constituents, instead of how he feels about his gender or lack thereof.

As it is, I guess this gets this little town that is probably unknown outside of Wales its share of publicity. And here I thought they a better job by renaming one of their villages Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. I suppose that's not good enough anymore.

Nearest I dare go is Bristol. I took a canal barge up the Avon River back in 07 and stopped abruptly when I heard the accents starting to shift.

The reason I don't intentionally get drunk or visit Wales is to avoid being confused like I am now.
