Another question would be, if he did, why would he incorporate all the numerous and different ways to physically date things that would take 6,000 years to discover?

That has got nothing to do with anything. Creation hardly needs verifying - we are here! What purveyors of the apparent age nonsense have yet to explain is why God would deliberately have made the universe appear much older than it really is.
