I have a medical issue (kidney stone) which is not bothering me at this time. On August 6th the Doctors attempted to resolve the problem, but were unsuccessful. I am still not in any pain and have a 2nd attempt scheduled for October 1st.

Just not sure I should go through with it. I have been in prayer, and haven't received any strong feelings from God one way or the other. One side of me says just to let it be, and it may not ever be a problem. The other side says go ahead and make a second attempt.

What to do in this type of situation? The Doctors say can see good reasons to both leave it alone, and/or to make a second attempt.

If the doctors see a good reason to make a second attempt I say go for it unless it affects your finances poorly.

the tubes that carry urine from your kidneys to your bladder are only so big, and large stones can potentially cause damage, so if the doctors see a reason then I might go for it..

But I'll pray for you so you feel confident in whatever decision you make..

Go for the second attempt.

I have known people who had kidney stones and they are excruciatingly painful when they do finally try to pass on their own.

I'd wait for confirmation from the Lord. I had a medical condition that I ignored. The Lord told me to go to the doctor. Just as well. It could have been very nasty. I understand that kidney stones can be excruciatingly painful. It's a hard decision. We will pray for you to make the right one.

God has put doctors in your life for a reason. Listen to their advice.

The fact that you have not received and direction from the LORD, probably indicates that it is up to you to make a decision as to what you want to do in the situation. I would just think through whether you feel like a second op, or not, seeing the doctors say you could go either way.

Make a choice that you are happy with.
