In need of prayer

I wanted to ask for prayer. Not only am I still grieving the loss of my husband who passed away Oct. 16, 2005, I am also grieving the loss of my son who just passed away Sept. 16, 2008. He was only 24. He died instantly in a car crash. We had just moved into our townhouse in May. My daughter had her son and I became a grandmother. We were starting to get adjusted to our new way of living and then it happened. I still can't believe it.

I sincerely pray that God will touch your heart with comfort during this time. I know that words can not take the pain away.

My prayer for you and all of us is that one day we will all be united with God and our loved ones and the pain of loss that we experienced on earth will be all forgotten, and the joy of reuniting with out loved ones will be more glorious that we can even imagine !!

Thank you. There's an old hymn that just came to my mind:"When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout for victory." How wonderful it will be to see our loved ones with Jesus waiting for us. In the mean time we have to continue the work He has for us here on earth.

Lord, we ask for you to touch ForeverTogether as she reads these responses. Help her to feel that you are there with her lightening this awful loss she's been feeling all this time. God, we know you can comfort her and start her on the road to recovery and peace. To go through so much loss is devastating and only You can take us through it. We want to always have those people you gave us to love so we need your help to let go and give them back to you. Help us Lord, to see you working everyday in our lives to get us through the days ahead.

We ask these things in Jesus' Holy name. Amen
