The rest we have in Christ has to do with the torment of guilt and shame that sin brings upon us. When we experience this rest that Jesus gives us we are set free from the guilt and shame that has separated us from God because of sin. In the rest of Christ we can approach God with all assurance of acceptance, peace and joy. This brings us to a new level of experience in godly love and true worship. True worship and godly love is founded in the commandments of God. Some will say we are to worship God 7/24/365, this is so very true. But we also have to understand that honoring the fourth commandment by remembering to keep the seventh day holy in light of its memorial quality is, in itself, an act of worship and godly love in the same way not worshiping other Gods, not take the Lord's name in vain and not worshiping idols are forms of true worship and godly love.
