Hello- I am currently putting together a survey of persons from different denominations/ faith walks that will then turn into a new book. The survey is essentially "Who are the most influential Christians in Church history?" These are all in the post-Biblical era, and they are all "self-professed" Christians, as some persons may not even be considered Christians by some other groups.
In the end, I will have a Top 20 ranking, and the book will focus on the Top 10.
If interested in taking 5 minutes to complete, please email or PM me. Thanks, and God Bless,

Ken L.

PS- Members of the clergy are encouraged to reply as well.

I know a man who would be in the top 20. But he is so wise, meek and humble, there won't be anything written about him in secular publishings.

You will be only able to list men from man's point of view.

From Christ's point of view, none of the names you get listed back to you will be accurate. Here's why,

(Luk 9:48) And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

(Mat 18:4) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 23:12) And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

(Jas 4:10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

(1Pe 5:6) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

The least member of a church, is most likely of the greatest men of God in history, when all is revealed from God's point of view. They are now like Jesus;

(Mat 11:29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

they will have been;

(Mat 5:10) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(Mat 5:11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
(Mat 5:12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

(Mat 24:9) Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

(Luk 21:17) And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

You can bet, the greatest follower of Christ in the kingdom of God, will not be anyone whom mankind has recognized as such. But I'm sure you know all that.
