I love all the American haters out there. It must suck to be so jealous. By the way you quoted a guy from Australia not the US.
Don't 'hate' America, more saddened by you, actually.

libs is an accurate description of a democrat.
No it's not. It's a sweeping, dismissive generalization to use when it doesn't suit one's agenda to take the time to sort out the differences between people.

From Finland.

Don´t you know that Washington DC and all its environs are corporate owned....that is one reason you all have so many lobbyists backing and supporting their own person.

You may have your own opinion about Ralph Nader..but look what he says at:

http://www.democracynow.org Go to the past archieves and click on to the July 9,2007 about Ralph Nader and Corporate power...sorry I could not a direct link to the video.

In Him, david.

OK. Lets take the 3 leading democrats from president. Clinton, Obama, and Edwards. I see no difference in the 3, all liberals.

I am beginning to think America needs not to care on a whole.

Yes that's it~Pat Buchanan makes more sense than most when it comes to politics and that is somewhat his take. A little less "globalist" a little more isolationist.

Of course the rest of the world will be knocking at the door for help anyhow, and humanitarian stuff is cool (disasters & famines).

We also should start making all these countries that seem to think negative of us these days pay us back all the loans and aid that we have given them.

Sorry you feel saddened by a guy who loves and defends his country and president for naysayers and propagandists.
Oh yeah. You're a true patriot and an inspiration to us all, Jad.

The libs never stop. What has Bush done that is impeachable unless protecting our country from another terrorist attack. How quick we all forget that there has NOT BEEN ONE attack on the US since 9/11.
There may not have been another one anyway.

And don't forget that his "Patriot Act" violates our Constitutional rights. Call me liberal for wanting Bush out? Then why am I going ALL THE WAY BACK and making positive references to the Constitution? That is the classic meaning
of "Conservative." Not just "libs" that disagree with him.

Why? Lets not forget this so called horrible administration has kept the terrorists away from here for the past 6 years.

Let's not forget, that in Bush's entire tenure in office, there had not been a single Godzilla sighting anywhere on the planet.

Similarly, the department of Homeland Security has been equally efficient at stopping asteroid collisions, robot/zombie/ninja uprisings, and dark magic from Lord Voldemort.

So, let's look at the Bush record again...

Terror attacks: 1

Godzilla Attacks: 0

Asteroid impacts: 0

robot/zombie/ninja invasions: 0

Spells from "You Know Who": 0

If you want to praise Bush, why not tout his perfect records, and not the case where he only screwed up once?

I don't either, necessarily, but honestly: "the libs". Can you not express an opinion without a generalization?
Ringo
Once again, it's just the short way of using the word "Liberal". Once again, I don't understand what's so insulting. It doesn't bother me when I'm called a Conservative, because that's how I believe.

Yes, but "conservative" is not used as a derogatory in the same way that "you libs" is meant to be derogatory. Therefore, your comparison is invalid.

It's the way these words are used. "Libs" sounds a lot more like a jab than it does a "short way to say 'liberals'".
