So, how does the a. definition of inspiration differ from the b. definition of grace.
Because you have to have the inspired word to be strengthed and sanctified in Him. For it is His word and His spirit that strengthens us. For this is how faith cometh is by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Thank you, WarriorAngel.

I think the question should be "Did He do that?" I'll look back through the thread. Still haven't read all of it. I'm curious to know what the Catholics use for Scriptural support of that theory.

The only one I see is they use the verse in which Gabriels calls her "full of Grace". I mentioned that Stephan was also said to be "filled with Grace", in which they say is that because He was Baptized, etc, and that Mary was Baptized in the womb, or given the saving Grace of Baptism prior to her conception in her mother's womb, with Jesus' sacrifice going back in time, in so that it was Him who redeemed her, allthough He was not born yet, let alone died on the cross. So I asked about the Prophet's of old who were filled with the Holy Spirit, and Grace..I can't recall they had an answer to that one..

nowhere in scripture does it say the word strengthens us.

It does say: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

Not in a physical sense.. but in a spiritual sense. The word strengthens us. The scripture that Iamadopted pointed out.. says the word strengthens our faith. 'Faith comes by hearing the word of God'.

The apostle Paul said to the elders as he was leaving them.. that he would leave them in the care of God.. and in the care of the word of grace.. which is able to 'build them up'.(acts 20:32) That pretty much says the word is able to spiritually strengthen us. I'm sure there are other passages.. but we probably won't find them by only looking up the word 'strengthen'. :)

Scripture and tradition are for instruction, teaching and reproof.
Most certainly that too.

BTW.. what was that LARGE BROWN egg about you posted in the other thread???^_^

The Prophets of Old were born under the Law. As all were. The whole world was prisoner of sin. Scripture tells us this. There was only one that had a miraculous conception. Jesus for He was conceived of the Holy Spirit. For it would be HIm that would save men from their sin. For Grace and truth came through Christ. We see this in scripture. He was Gods only Begotten Son who taketh away the sins of the whole world. The Lamb of God. We see in scripture where they Angel greeted Mary and called her favored one. For she would be the one who bore a son and Called Him Jesus. Just as God said through His angel.

Only Gabriel called her "full of grace" not "favored one".
I have shown you the original greek in this. It is Charitoo and the full is not even in there. He greeted her highly favored one. So this is a misconception. In all translations she is greeted as favored one or highly favored one. The greek translation from the Latin is in error. You have to take the original writing of this.
