Im very ill , need help

Unfortunatly the reason I have selected "unwell" as my mood is a real one . If your god exists he already knows what I have , and its uncurable by modern medicine . Its nothing deadly , but it does leave me feeling ill almost 80% of the time and will eventually cause me cancer . Please pray for me to get better . I tried asking myself but I figure that I dont have the faith required .

Im not using this as proof of your gods existance / non proof either . I really just want to get better someway somehow .

Dear God please take this diseased body and with your grace and love help to heal this body and soul. by the stripes of jesus we are healed. The God in the Bible is the God of creation. He is alive. I just found that out two years ago. I thought all Christians where out of their mind. But its true. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. Faith is A Gift from God. He gives you the faith to believe in Him. Jesus Christ died to satisfy Gods justice he is Holy and can not be where sin is present. Jesus paid the price for our sins to be forgiven. And when you beleive in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord then God WILL revels himself to you fully. Nothing in this world can compair to Him NOTHING. Please I urge you to seek Him out. Start praying, simply ask God to show you the truth. I know that you know there has to be a God and there is. You just can't see him because you must be born again.

I am so sorry to hear of your suffering. It seems very wise to me to get Christians to pray for you, wish I had done that when I was an unbeliever.

God is able to heal - Since I became a Christian, in answer to prayer He has healed me of multiple strokes, and of severe angina, among other things. On the other hand, He has not chosen to heal me of my post polio syndrome, and may not until I get to Heaven. However, if I didn't have it I would be working and wouldn't have a chance to minister on the Message Boards, something that is much more important to me.

Referring to your post "if your God exists", if you at some time care to search, here are things that helped me when I was an atheist:
External Proofs: As Scripture says, "You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart." I would like to give some titles that might be of interest to you. Some of them are out of print, but could be ordered through a Christian bookstore or some place like Amazon. An excellent short overview of Evidences (external proofs such as archaeology for the inerrancy of the Scriptures) is the 60 page pamphlet "The Agnostic Who Dared to Search."

*The Late Great Planet Earth (past and future prophecy)
*Daktar (biography about a doctor in Bangladesh, from which the above pamphlet is taken)
*Josh McDowell's books - the New Evidence that Demands a Verdict, and More Evidence that Demands a Verdict (that one is on canonicity)
*Many Infallible Proofs
*More than a carpenter (proofs about Jesus)
And I am sure there are many more good ones that a clerk at a Christian bookstore could recommend in Evidences or Apologetics (not apologies, but things like cosmology)

Another book I find helpful is: Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties by Archer. It answers many objections by unbelievers.
