I'm sorry to hear what you have gone through. There is nothing i can do for you but pray that God gives you guidance and peace in your heart and that you will be strong.
You seem like a strong person and it takes a lot of courage to be able to talk about it.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss, I havn't yet experienced the type of grief you're feeling so I wouldn't pretend to know what you're going through. I will pray for you that Jesus can be your strength, just keep your trust and faith strong in him.

Reading through the thread, you've received good counsel. I'm new to CF, came upon your thread, and wonder if things are looking up.
I've experienced a loss like your's, and I can say there is never a time limit on the grieving process. Everyone who does, goes through the experience alittle differently. It's important to have good supports, who can feed God's grace into your life.
Adding my prayers with the others.

Hey Sam, I'm sorry to hear about your mom passing on. I hope you get over all the pain quickly, I also hope you don't resort to doing what you do to relieve all the pain, it's not cool. 
Try finding a hobby to surround your life right now, I've never lived in Netherlands, but I lived in Germany for a while, you could always start a garden or join some type of adult social group. Considering what you went through as a child this'll be easy to overcome for you.
