  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm needing some prayers too

<<<<<<hugs>>>>>> and God's healing hand upon you!
I will remember you in my prayers this evening.

One thing that might help, is get on all fours (hands and knees) and have your husband rub a cloth filled with ice on your lower back, or if you have a marble rolling pin, roll that gently on your lower back.

I don't think it's so much a "weird position," but rather the baby has gone head down and is STAYING head down. I had that with my son, and I remember telling the doctor, "This kid is a LITERAL pain in the butt!" I received permission to take aspirin, since it relieved the pain better than Tylenol. I just had to stop taking it six weeks before my due date.

You are in my prayers, Hon.

Peace be with you,
~VOW

Thanks all!!

Bean - your suggestion helps for my usual pregnancy backaches, but for some reason, not this one... Hmmm....

VOW - I do remember the "stuck head down" feeling. This is not it. It is different. Plus, new baby likes to switch from breech to transverse to vertex and a dozen different positions in between! Fortunately, I haven't felt the tailbone pain in a few days. <sighs of relief>

Sounds like you've got a future gymnast there! Find a coach and sign the kid up for lessons. And we'll plan to watch the Olympics in, say, fourteen years? Would that be about right?

(Gymnastics is always the best part of Summer Olympics!)

Peace,
