Hi all just wanted to share my joy.
I proposed to my sweetheart yesterday on the beach at Llandudno in Wales. I took her out for a surprise trip to the stoney beach. We've been there before collecting odd looking stones and pebbles. As we walked I pretended to find a large fist shaped stone (which I had prepared earlier). I'd engraved on one side 'I love you' with two interlinked hearts. On the back I'd engraved 'will you marry me'. As I knelt before her I said 'hey, look what I've found' and handed her the stone, then asked her if she would marry me. She said yes (obviously). I then gave her a ring and we got soaking wet in the rain. It was great.
