I'm from FL and I guess you could say my parents are typical southern Christians. I accepted and believed Christianity upto when I turned 13, then I started to look into other religions - and found Islam.

Allah has shown me the true path and I'm ready to bow down to my maker.

always remember the above verse which clarifies that a believer never discriminate any of Allah's chosen people as Prophet's and remember that the real struggle with shaitan starts when a person begins to believe in One True God of Prophets because shaitan will never leave an oppertunity to make evil fair-seeming.

There are contradictions in the Koran. It may take courage to look at them for what they are and decide which of the contradicting statements you believe. It's not about being right or wrong - it's about being smart.

That may be, but converting away from the faith you chose earlier usually doesn't lead to death in most religions. Not a lot of Buddhists and Catholics chasing down apostates and murdering them these days.

Well, if these are some of the many scientific facts... then I'd suggest you convert to ancient Greek religions, since most of what the Quran uses (if not all) is Greek knowledge (reguarding science of course).
