Im beaten down and defeated

I have a sin habit that I have been trying to beat and im ready to give up. Ive fasted, prayed, tried to move, had others pray, tried to run away from the sin, tried deliverance, tried tried tried...

I'm very done trying. I think God is my only hope. maybe I need to do something?? But I've tried everything!! If anyone feels led to pray, you can, because I'm prayed out. I worship God regardless. I believe and love Him. I just need freedom more than food and water.

I'm discouraged and beaten down. If no one prays it a-ok! Cuz im so defeated I just don't care anymore. Satan set this trap up and its crazy how sneaky he is. Man. be sober, cuz he DOES PROWL ABOUT DEVOURING! Hes torn me to bits. well tc

The sin habit, as you worded it, is your addiction. Addicts cannot help themselves. I do not know what you are struggling with so I can only generalize. Let us take something like pornography. It seems like this would be an easy thing for someone to stop looking at, however it is a sin of the flesh and does not go away when you close your eyes. Neither does adultery, fornication, homosexuality, etc... We get involved in these sort of addictions and believe we can walk away cold turkey. God may need to lead you through whatever your sin addiction is with help from brothers and sisters in Christ or it may be that He is going to require you to participate in a more mundane program if you are addicted to drugs, alcohol, or sex. Whatever your sin addiction is, you cannot lone wolf this. The devil looks for ways to hurt you and as you can see, he is good at what he does. You have fasted and prayed and perhaps the answer God has given you is that His saving grace is sufficient at this moment. I am not trying to speak for Him, only that you are very close to the demolition of spiritual strength right now and looking at the big picture is far more difficult when you are wading through the muck and mire.

Until that time, know that God is always present, always holding you up and He always loves you. The trials that you are facing now would be much more difficult without knowing Jesus Christ as your Savior and King. Secondly, this community has some wonder prayer warriors. I am fairly certain that we will join in to lift you up to our Lord.

You are loved, my friend. We do not know you and yet you belong to Christ and therefore you are a part of our family as well. You are not alone...

I noticed that you pray for everyone! Servant, that is an awesome gift you give by lifting ppl up to the Lord! May God bless YOU and your loved ones, the way you bless others. This is from my heart! I know God is good and He hears prayers. Thank you for being my friend in Christ. I cannot give up. I must trust that He will get me to the other side. Again, may God richly bless you! And yours!

Have you read the following story from the bible:

Luk 18:38-42 So he shouted, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" The people at the front of the crowd sternly told him to be quiet, but he started shouting even louder, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Then Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?"He said, "Lord, I want to see again!" So Jesus told him, "See again! Your faith has made you well."

Now I am not saying you need to scream and yell. But what I want to focus your attention on is the persistence of the blind man. Everyone was telling him to be quite, to give up. What if he had have done that, he would have possibly missed out on His miracle.

Sure you may fall into sin, but why does any Christian sin? Usually because they don't feel loved by God, or have some unmet need. But keep persisting, keep yelling, keep reaching out with desperation and you will have your victory.

Hey there is no shame here many Christians have been or are currently in bondage. You've done a great thing actually by confessing your sin to us because as James 5:16 says "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. 17Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! 18Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops." Now what you need is to do three things, and that is to
1. Have faith in the Lord and in yourself.
2. Loose your addiction from your soul by choosing with your will the one God gave you.
3. Keep praying because whenever you pray or we pray for you God's angels take that prayer, and go out to war against the enemy on your behalf! If you notice the key to getting your prayers answered is in Daniel 10:

"Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. 13But for twenty-one days the spirit princec of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels,d came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia."

Sin can be very addictive, and hard to beat, but God is willing to help you, and with him, you are able to overcome. Ill be praying for you to be able to overcome the sin habit.

Yes, i thank you for your Godly advice and prayers. Its just that I pray soooo hard. I let God know He can do whatever He pleases w me. I feel as though Hes not answering becuz i got myself in this mess. No one to blame but me. But I did learn that if u are in sin, to run to God and not away like adam and eve. Which is how i handled it by posting this desperate post than leaving. Lol

Forgive me in my late reply. I just felt defeated and put down my weapons but that doesn'thelp. So ive decided to run to God and be still...Ty very much!
