  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well I feel better now. You're welcome!

Do you prefer your chicken fried or not? Do you even like chicken?

I do like chicken and I like fried chicken. It's possibly one of my favorites, I really don't have it all that often.

If it's possibly your favorite, you should have it more often! It's not really the healthy choice though.

Do you chew gum? What's your favorite kind?

That's probably why I don't have it very often. That and it's kinda hard to just cook for one or go out to eat.

I do chew gum, I like Wintermint Orbit the best.

Aww so sad

That brings up my next question. Are you lonely often?

eh, not really, of course there are times thankfully not as much lately. I have roommates so that helps. Next year when I have a house to myself I may have a different answer.

I have friends called Amanda & Ryan who live in Indiana!

Oh, a question, umm have you always lived in Indiana?

Yep, I've always lived here. I was raised in Northern Indiana and I'm currently in central Indiana going to school.

What do you like about northern indiana as opposed to where you are now?

Thinking about just my town I like the people better, the traffic (or lack there of), most of the drivers actually know what snow is and how to drive in it. That said, I like getting more snow up north too. I loved how far away I was from a large city.
I live in a college town right now so during the school year I pretty much hate living here, the summers are awesome and so are school breaks.

Besides that there really isn't that much of a difference.

That's good Manda that you have good thoughts of the North, I didn't when I was in college but mine was much further south.

What do you like about the college town your in and what do you think you'll miss when its over? Do you think you'll stay in Indiana or move away?

I don't really know what I like about this town. It's a decent size, I don't think I'd really like much bigger after growing up in a fairly small town. I love the church that I go to and I really don't want to leave that. I've made some great friends down here, not just other college students, many have graduated and live in the town now. So I guess when/if I leave I'd miss the people, my church and the wide variety of things/experiences that are available here.

I think I want to move away from Indiana, it's a great state but I love the mountains, I'm not completely opposed to living here. It's kinda a dream to live near mountains out in the country somewhere, I don't know if it will ever happen but I'd like for it to. I guess it all depends on what happens in the next couple of years. If I get married I'd probably move wherever my husband had a job, if his is better than mine or look for somewhere I could get a job. If I'm not married I'll probably move away too. I'm quite a bit like my mom in this sense, she moved 8 hours from home and to a different country (she's from Canada). I like my family but I'm really independent and don't need to be close.

Have you heard of the J.E.T. program? It's a wonderful experience if you get accepted, I did it for 3 years. Alls you need is a degree, a desire to live and work in Japan and something that makes you stand out from all the other applicants. Its highly selective..but I've also heard of a program in Korea. Have you explored any of these?

I haven't heard of it, I don't know if I want to spend a lot of time overseas yet or not, I just like to visit but it is a thought on something to do, I may have to look into it.

What do you want to get out of life?

I don't really know what I want to get out of life, if you mean what do I want to do, I think I can answer that. I'd like to finish my degree and find a job relating that somewhere. I'd like to find someone to settle down with and have a family somewhere in there too.
