  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wow... I've gotta say this might be a new home for me... I've been searching for a christian forum for some time... and tonight... well tonight might be the night! The font i always use is Verdana, something I most ALWAYS have to change... however this was already set to verdana... i'll take that as a sign!

A little about me... I'm a college student, a starving one at that, ;-) I attend community college in California. I live in Springville which is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada's.. annnnddddd... ---I'd like to play a game, it's a good introduction game I've played in one of my online classes. I list five things about me, four of them are true and you try and guess which one is untrue.

  1. I have a fairly brand new IBM ThinkPad, you know the one for Players.
  2. I have an eight year old daughter who is in the second grade.
  3. I have a new neice two months old and one who is four years old.
  4. I have two goats, three chickens, and four beautiful horses.
  5. I'm a third semester web designer who enjoys working on web sites in spare time.

I live in Central California and attend Porterville College which is located in none other then you guessed it Porterville! As I'm reading these guesses I've realized I've done this wrong, I was supposed to ask you to ask me questions and feel out which is the wrong statement... :)

So to keep this going a little longer i'll just say nothing. For now... :) to keep it a little exciting.

HeyYA caitlincares!! Glad you're playing!! Ok well you're a 39 year old female who obviously love purple, your font is purple, your signature is purple, ok that's established... I'd say it's very possible you have four brother and two sisters and along with that would probably come a niece and a nephew... so it's the roommate or the owning your own house... i'd say that at 39 it's deffinately a possiblitity to own your own home... so that leaves number 2!! I would have to say you don't have a roommate named Nicholas... So.. how'd I do?? I tried to talk it out like on Millionaire! :)

Fatal mistake in your logic.
You did not think twice about number of siblings.
If I had 6 siblings I should have a lot more neices and/or nephews.

Now you need to tell us which one of your five was a lie.
