CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I know how you feel, Elle. They changed my schedule at work for the 4th quarter of the school year. Instead of eating lunch at 11:50, I know eat lunch about 1:50-2:00. It really sucks.

IJWTS There is no recess. This is high school. We are on a block schedule and only have 4 classes per day. Because my class has the last of the 3 lunches, we don't get lunch until really late.
IJWTS, sometimes I will take a snack and eat it during class, but I feel bad about eating in front of the kids.

oh wow I guess its different here, everyone had the same lunch at my High School. What subject do you teach??? Do the classes not rotate?

IJWTS I teach science and health. The classes rotate, but because of the number of students, we have 3 different lunch periods. The hallway I am in happens to have the 3rd lunch.

Oh, me too stan. I'm way stressed but soooo close to the end. I'm practically going to have to sell my soul to get everything done in time but man will it be nice to be done with everything. Only a few more weeks for me and then I'm off to enjoy the summer. Cannot. Wait.
