Ijwts how do you respond when someone stands you up to spend time with God? It's admirable to spend time with God... but should that person tell you they are going to do that instead of making you wait forever for them to show?

you smack that person in the face for using God as an excuse for being rude to another person
how dare they use God as a tool, as an excuse to flake out on someone...

sorry if I was over the top, they could atleast call you and tell you that something else came up

rhamiel: if it were me, i'd be careful with what I said there. you don't know the circumstances of either of these two people.

you're going to be held accountable to God for every word you blurt. personally, i wouldn't want what you said held over me in judgment. you said some pretty callous statements there.

Long day done.
and after 2.5 hours of work, my 300 word discussion response for homework is done.
This class is frustrating. Frustrating, frustrating, FRUSTRATING!!!

IAWTS-
My car is in really bad shape, and I still don't have a stupid job. Sobriety and withdrawal are beating my body brutally. I'm waking up later, and later, going to sleep earlier and earlier, but waking up more and more fatigued each and every day.

Lord, Give me the strength to complete my current tasks, known and unknown. Make my suffering worth looking-back upon. Bring a calm to this raging-storm so I may see the rainbows you have painted for my eyes only.

IJWTS- I hate being lied to. Call me a hypocrite but I think it is the most socially condemning thing a person can do- lie to someone they say they are looking out for. Just goes to show two things: if you're in a bind, the only person you can truly trust is yourself, putting your hopes into a network builds up anxiety and stress, and the second being if you need to get something done, trust yourself to do it and only yourself...
