CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS- Okay, I'm going to try and figure out how to give my hair a 1940's look for the dress I bought. I think it would be fun to play a little dress up for my next big event.

I'd say the Camera Lens, then the Laptop... but I wouldn't get an iPhone

That's what I was thinking too actually. And I dont know, I know there are new phones coming out but there will always be new awesome phones.I'd say the Camera Lens, then the Laptop... but I wouldn't get an iPhone
I'm a researcher, I have to make sure it's the best fit for me so we'll see. I may end up with a totally different phone. lol But this one I have is just like im stuck in the 90s or something. lol

Well, I am quite fond of technology... and I assure you, Androids are the way to go. They're coming out with the Samsung Note, and the Galaxy S 3 soon; both of which are going to be like pocket PCs, my Galaxy S2 certainly doesn't disappoint (it's a dual core 1.4 GHz processor, and came with 11.2 GB of storage).
iPhones come with a decent camera, and Siri... you can't upgrade it (whereas, I can always add up to 32 GB of storage to my S2), and it doesn't support Flash media (think Youtube or many other forms of video).
iPhones are the worst, but because people like to be 'exclusive' and have an iPhone for basically aesthetic reasons, they keep selling a ton of them; people who buy iPhones are often snickered at by most people these days.

IJWTS the iOS app store has more apps and better quality. The approval process weeds out virus apps and the like. Also, there's a YouTube app that comes free with the phone. You can watch whatever you like.
And I have never seen anyone get snickered at because they have an iPhone. Must be regional differences.

Yeah, I don't necessarily agree that the apps are better quality... I've got 750 apps, and they don't disappoint at all.
It must be regional, or maybe it's not because much of the internet laughs at anybody whom goes out of their way to purchase anything Apple.
I'm not sure which facts you're getting, but I said Apple doesn't support Flash media (which it doesn't, that's a fact - think Youtube or other video forms as Flash media; I'm fully aware that it does have a Youtube app.); if we're talking about facts, why haven't you hit the point about it not being able to be upgraded at all (at least in storage space terms - and if you did want more storage you'd have to shell out much more money than it would cost to simply purchase a quality micro SD card?). Apple products are for graphic designers, or people whom actually make Music - trenders/bandwagons simply caught on and took it for a ride; and they're still on it thinking it's cool.
Think of the iTouch and iPad - PCs had touch screen tablets long before Apple decided to add them to their line, and it only became such a big hit because of their exclusivity and aesthetics.
Why not compare prices of products and capabilities if we're going to actually talk facts.
