CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS: I cannot comprehend why my roommate's best friend chooses to hang out in a dorm when he has a house. Not only that, but why he feels like it is also his room. I would never be my friends room he wasn't in there. Let alone that, this guy has been in here when neither me nor my roommate have been in there.

IJWTS I am SO soo excited! ! ! ! !! ! !! I went to check on my goat who was due ( I thought in a few weeks) and she already has given birth to two beautiful goat kids! ! ! ! ! I don't think I will be able to sleep now I am SOoo happy! ! !
I just hope that they will stay warm enough in the barn

Also, earthquakes. We had one tonight.
My side of town didn't feel anything and it was small, but still. I was going to say it's odd, but we do live on a fault line. I'm thinking maybe that's why I heard rattling and thunder Saturday night. It was also an earthquake? I don't know.

I've never really "been" in one either. We've had one biggish one when I was younger, but it happened while we were all asleep. The only proof that there was one was that our pictures frames were on the floor and a few stuff out of place. And we had one last year but it was also at night when everyone was asleep.
They seem to only happen at night when I'm asleep because I also went to California one spring break to see my family and they had one over there, but I didn't feel it. My family said that they are for the most part used to them, but they are scary. Like there are certain types. The ones that move you side to side, and others that move you up and down... something like that. They said the one that moves you side to side is scarier because you can't move. So you're trying to get to a safer place, but it's hard because you can't walk because of the quake.

IJWTS- Going to the store to buy two very important things. Cat food and the new Zelda game. I've been putting the second one off for fear of getting distracted but I'd figure I'd do it now before I run out of funds.
