It's not so much the fact that they've only been together a year, it's that two years ago, she would never have even heard of the fellow.
I don't want to be a naysayer, but a marriage betwixt a 23 year-old man (who mightI hesitate to say for certainlive outside his income) and a 22 year-old girl just seems a bit young; also, given that they both share the same very flighty "devil-may-care" attitude gives me cause for concern that they really know what it is ahead of them...
Perhaps I'm simply old-fashionedbut I believe we already knew this.
Then again, I am far more than a disinterested party, so I admit to both bias and agenda in my concern.
Define old fashioned? Married in late teens, early 20's after knowing each other less than 2 years like the baby boomer generation, or old fashioned getting married in mid to late teens after knowing each other less than 2 years like the 3 or so preceding generations?
